The center is known for engaging family events and excellent communication with parents.
After our tour at Kindercare, I knew it was the right fit for our family. The staff was very welcoming and had a lot to share about their program. Since having my son enrolled in their toddler program, I've seen him grow his social skills, vocabulary, and motor skills. The curriculum is AMAZING! They keep the children BUSY! The director, assistant director, and teachers know the children and parents by name and foster a genuine sense of community when it comes to the care of the children. I drop my son off knowing he is in great hands, which puts me at ease. Meals include healthy options and the hosted events are always a hit. My family can't stop talking about how much they enjoyed the grandparent's day festivities. The recent truck or treat was OUTSTANDING and my family is already looking forward to next year's. We are looking forward to the years to come with Kindercare :-). Thank you all for all that you do!
I have not found anything wrong with this daycare, the curriculum is great, my child has shown clear signs that he's learning and engaging in the curriculum. They have family friendly events that are amazing!!!! The center director and staff are very much engaged and keep the families very well informed.
My daughter has been attending KinderCare at the Fort since September 2024, and I can confidently say it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made for her development and well-being. From the very beginning, the staff has treated her like she’s one of their own. As a parent, there’s nothing more comforting than knowing your child is safe, cared for, and genuinely happy when they’re away from you. Since starting at KinderCare, she’s grown so much—not just academically but socially and emotionally too. Her vocabulary has expanded tremendously, her ability to make friends warms my heart, and her imagination is truly something magical to witness. Like many toddlers, she went through a challenging phase around age two with some behavioral issues. As a mom, it was concerning. But the entire team at the center reassured me that this was normal and worked closely with her (and us) to help her learn to manage her emotions. The transformation has been incredible—like night and day. I’m so grateful for their patience and support. Every teacher and staff member has been wonderful, but I have to give a special shoutout to Ms. Jaslyn. My daughter adores her. Every single day, she looks forward to seeing her, and it’s clear that bond means the world to her. I can’t thank KinderCare at the Fort enough for the positive impact they’ve had on our family. Highly recommended!
So happy with choosing Kindercare! My toddler started few months ago and is adapting so well thanks to her amazing teachers, assistants, and directors! Any transition is hard, but the support system and the attention to my toddler’s needs made it easier with such good care. My toddler is thriving and loves to go to “school” every day now. Highly recommend.
My daughter attended Kindercare Fort Washington from August 2022 until October 2022 and it was very poorly directed. The staff was seemingly nice, but I had so many issues in just three months of my child being here, from being fed things she was allergic to, to being bitten and it not being reported to me, the last being her being struck in the head with a lung object and the staff not knowing what happened. The mark is on her forehead to this day. The teacher explained how she was overwhelmed and had 10 kids to just her which included special needs children who needed extra care. I took my daughter from the center and we never returned. The director at the time insisted that the teacher was okay and that “accidents happen” but the bluntness of the hit to her head caused a permanent indentation which reflects the lack of supervision.
