We have been going to the location on aspen for almost a year. My son had never been to daycare before and I was so worried about his first experience and the fact I had been told certain things about this specific center. I did go tour it and decided to give it a try! And while no daycare is perfect and there are problems with every place I can say that when a problem arises they are quick to rectify it, and communicate any classroom changes, ect. I do miss the everyday pictures, and the menu that was previously posted but also understand that dealing with children esp toddlers that is not always easy to accomplish. The toddler teacher Emily is absolutely amazing and I wish there were about 5 more of her! They make drop offs simple and offered to let my child hang out in the office before dropping him off as sometimes he can be a little hard to let go especially after a weekend! Would give a 5 star if I got daily pictures and the menu posted other than that, I feel like the teachers care about my child and he is always clean when I pick him up 🙃
I will say this the director Micah is very nice and understanding and is probably the best part of the daycare. When I first started sending my daughter there it was better they have had a lot of staff turnover and staff don't communicate like they should. We had some issue with them that was could have been avoided if it was for better communication. They use to take a picture every day of what my babies where doing they stopped doing that everyday. They are full time only so when our tribal only made us 3 days a week they said charging 200 on top of what my tribe pays which is close to 2k They gave no notice about the charge and was put into affect immediately even though we were on vacation with our kids and they diddnt even g. If they could get back to the level care they had a year ago they would probably be 4 starts they have fallen off a lot
My daughters last day was today and we both cried after we left (sad that we won’t see them anymore). As she goes back to regular school next week. Staci and her staff have been a god send these last several months in caring for my child. We have experienced 2 other daycares over the last few years in BA and both made me never want to put my child in a daycare ever again. You cannot find better people, and a more clean, safe environment like what this location has to offer. If they had transportation to the schools still I would have kept my daughter enrolled because she loves everyone so much that she’s gotten to know! Staci is amazing with communication and helpful with any questions, unlike any other director I’ve ever met. Not only that but anyone we would come into contact with staff wise was incredibly sweet. Gonna miss these amazing people. If I ever need a childcare center again in the future there is no other place we will go than here.💜 Thank you, all!
I am so fed up with this daycare. My kids have been going there for about a year and a half. The teachers my kids have had were great! But the director Micah and assistant director Ashley are not great. There has been so many incidents for my kids were hurt, and I was not notified. Especially when my child has a decent bruise or is bleeding I should know. I find out by the teachers, asking me if I knew about the incident happening. They thought my son had a seizure and they didn’t call me! Something could’ve happened to him. The teacher told me at pick up, but I should’ve been called. When my son moved classrooms, his medical conditions were not shared with his teacher. To watch out for things. Luckily, I am one to ask if it was told. There is so many things I can list off that has happened at this daycare. Some teachers were curious about my job as a teacher assistant (paraprofessional) through the school. It was an innocent conversation. I might’ve lightly mentioned that they were hiring, but they always are. That’s common knowledge. But one day when I come in to pick up my children. I walked past the front office as usual, nothing was said to me. Go get my kids. As I’m walking past the office, about to leave the daycare My kids and I are pulled into the office. I get lectured in front of my children. Saying that I was making uncomfortable and they do not allow recruiting of their staff. when I unenrolled my kids, I apologized to the staff I talked to about my job. I did not make them uncomfortable like I was told . They have no idea where that came from. Many of the staff told me they do not blame me for taking my kids out as they have all unenrolled their kids. Their own staff does not want their children attending their daycare where they work. How sad! I have already called higher ups and am considering reporting to DHS.
I've never had issues with the staff at this center. They've always been interested in how I teach my daughter. They know each child by name, and understand their individual needs. They were extremely supportive of giving my daughter breast milk when she was smaller (when she refused to eat they asked questions about how she prefers her bottle). My daughter has been at this center for 3 years, and loves all of the teachers. The director is compassionate and truly cares about the kids. I recommend this center to coworkers and friends all the time.
