What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise this KinderCare location for exceptional staff care, strong communication, and structured educational programming. Children show genuine excitement about attending and demonstrate measurable developmental progress. The inclusion of meals, diapers, and wipes is valued, though higher pricing than competitor centers is noted.
I’m surprised this center doesn’t have more reviews! I moved my daughter to this daycare after being at a smaller daycare. Having previously had some issues I was a little nervous to try KC Westtown but have been so happy since we started here. I have especially loved the structure, communication, and the teachers! My daughter is in the toddler room and is always so excited to get to school. Mr David and Miss Patty have been excellent leaders who you can tell truly care about the kids — but ALL of the teachers here are really sweet! Some of my favorite perks of being at this center are diapers & wipes are included for infants and toddlers, meals and snacks are provided, tons of updates throughout the day, and an action packed monthly calendar with activities and lessons for the kids to learn. While Kindercare is a bit more expensive than some other centers in the area, it is completely worth it to me.
We were set up for our daughters first day today 10/13. We were able to walk right in and not a single teacher was present. We got no communication about the closure or information about the first day. Poor security and awful communication.
This center has been exactly what we needed. I love the small classroom sizes and the teachers genuinely care about all the children. Food and diapers are also provided which makes a parent’s job a lot easier. I have so much peace of mind bringing my child here. Educationally I can see my child making great strides and learning as he plays. Thank you kindercare especially Miss Katie and Miss Betsy!
I was employed at Westtown KinderCare for the greater part of a decade. MY how the center has fallen. I was SO proud and excited to enroll my own child in the center that I was so grateful to have taught in, myself. When I toured the building (twice in the last year) I specified that I would need part-time care and was quoted a tuition for 3 days a week on the paperwork they provided me at that time. During my two recent visits, I was quite surprised to find the center almost completely empty - REALLY hurting for enrollment (December 2022 and May 2023); however, because I am understanding of the impact the pandemic had on schools and because of how much I had loved my time teaching there, I was sure that the love and support for families there was the same - I was wrong. I was originally told that my child could not enroll in January, and I was glad to find supplemental care in the interim. Then, Westtown KinderCare reached out and told me I was in luck - they could enroll my child earlier! They sent over the paperwork for enrollment and I pulled my son from the temporary center I had enrolled him in because I was overjoyed to have him at Westtown KinderCare - it was actually a dream come true! I completed the enrollment paperwork immediately and within the week, I was contacted by management (who had originally provided my tuition quote for 3 days a week) that they could actually ONLY enroll my son if we would be full-time. Despite my sharing that I had lost an enrollment opportunity at another school to enroll at their center, that we are less than one month away from needing childcare, and reminding them that they HAD been WELL aware of our needs and had QUOTED us tuition as such, we were still told we would be required to enroll our child full-time. It is clear to me that KinderCare Westtown is a failing center who is a cog in a corporate machine that encourages them to prioritize making money over serving their families or paying their staff a fair wage (which is why turnover rates are so extremely high). RUN don't walk to any other center you can find. The management is clearly completely disorganized and does not remember anything that has been communicated to them multiple times and is willing to completely disrupt a family's entire year and treat it as a little "whoopsie." It is embarrassing.
Very happy with the Westtown KinderCare. I have a child in the infant room, who despite his young age, gets very excited to see the teachers, seems cared about and well taken care of throughout the day. All the staff are extremely friendly and knew my and my son by our first names from day one. I'm extremely comfortable having him there. Its very comforting to know some of the loveliest people are looking after your child! Also the communication is great and the curriculum is wonderful, even for infants!
