It’s a “baby mill”. The owners of the company have vast differences in opinion on childcare. Miss Jennifer seems like her heart is in the right place. But Juan, the male owner is literally only about making a buck. During Covid he charged me $10 a mask and wouldn’t let my children enter the daycare without purchasing two of THIER masks. Additionally, the outside of the building smells like rotting diapers and I’ve never seen the interior. Juan is all about making the bottom dollar every single Monday. He takes it out of your pocket with very little regard for your child. You make the choice.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ms. ROXY. She is such a loving and dedicated preschool teacher, always fully engaged in everything the children are doing. She doesn’t just supervise—she’s the first one to jump into dress-up, start an activity, and spark excitement in the classroom. Her energy is contagious, and the kids absolutely adore her. What I really appreciate is her perfect balance of being both fun-loving and firm. She sets clear boundaries, but always with warmth and care, creating a safe and positive environment for learning. She is involved in every detail of the children’s day, making sure each child feels seen, included, and supported. We are so grateful to have her shaping these early years—she truly goes above and beyond, and it shows in the way the children light up around her. Grandma Annette
Miss Roxy is truly an amazing teacher! She has such a natural gift for connecting with children and creating a fun, safe, and encouraging learning environment. The Preschool and VPK program is filled with creativity, patience, and genuine care. My child has grown so much academically and socially under her guidance, and I couldn't be more grateful. It's clear she loves what she does, and it shows in the way the kids look forward to school every day. Kidstown is lucky to have her!
If I could give this place a 0 I will I had to tolerate all kinds of stupid comments from my baby’s teacher the baby was only 15 months and they didn’t allow them to drink from the zippy bottle stating that he was suppose to already drink from a cup when this is a lie even the other daycares and pediatrician said that was only until they’re 2 years old and I can confirm now that he is 2 and has been switched to the next room , everyday when I picked him up he was thirst to death like he hadn’t had any fluids all day very bothered, the teachers where always complaining about he’s behavior from day one and staying like they couldn’t wait for him to go to the next class from the first day he was there she said that even tho I was trying to explain he behavior might had to be with he’s father figure absence she proceeded to compare my baby with an other single mom’s baby he never felt welcomed there on top of them asking you for a list of materials like crayons and staff when no other daycare does anyway their staff memebers a lot of them are really rude and seems like they only care about money the director is an other one that has no manners or people skills .Also from the first week they were always looking for excuses to send my baby home and I will have to leave work out of 2 months he was there he probably only attended 3 weeks because the rest they were always sending him home and making me pay parents responsibility fee plus babysitter so that I could work and am a single mom , They violated a code of privacy and no one else than them knew what the new daycare was and someone from there called the new daycare pretending to be a family member asking info about my son. The list could go on and on anyway I will never recommend this place to anyone .
This daycare is excellent. The office staff and teachers are so nice. The most important thing is that the children are in a safe environment where they receive plenty of love and attention.
