Kids Kountry Del Rey

My son sustained a wrist fracture during morning recess and had a fractured wrist all day. The teacher (Deseree S) did not check my son after a 6 year old pushed him down a slide and fell on him. Teacher did not check him, did not write an incident report, and the center did not call me to let me know of the incident. My son was in distress all day, teacher said at pickup,” he was overly emotional all day and just wanted to be with you. He wanted to be by himself and he cried when asked to go to the restroom.” Teacher did not mention the incident my son had. When we left and I tried buckling him in the car, he told me a boy fell on him. He pointed to his wrist and continued saying the boy fell on him. We went back into the daycare to let the director know he said a boy fell on him and that his wrist was hurting. The director named ROSA did not seem concerned and told us she’d ask the educator on Monday. My son cried all the way home and we turned around and went to the ER. X-rays showed a fractured wrist. Daycare teacher tried giving us a report saying and blaming my son and saying he didn’t say anything and contradicting her statements made at pickup. Report was not accepted and another one was written, which still left out her STATEMENTS. The director Rosa, mentioned she would be calling to check in how my son was doing, but instead she was rude and would not say anything and would not provide an explanation about why her staff failed to provide my son with care and attention. She should not be working with children and the teacher involved in this incident should also be let go. I hope these centers obtain trainings or shut down.

I’ve had my son at this facility for about a year and a half and have never felt more comfortable and safe leaving my child in their care. Crystal, the babies teacher was just incredible with my son, very caring about him and his learning, in her class she helped him with his speech and to walk I had never been more happy. He’s now in the ones room and his teachers Brittany, and Valerie are wonderful they care for him as if he was their own. I’m glad to have found this daycare with great, thoughtful and caring staff.

My children have attended this Kids Kountry for the past 5 years. There ages are 2 and 6. I must admit I was scared/worried about taking them to any day-care center. As you walk in to the facility, it's smells like a clean freshly mopped floor and the aroma of whatever delicious foods are cooking for the kids to enjoy. The clean floors match the smell. The staff is very friendly and do a great job keeping me and mom updated when our children need their supplies. Even the teachers of the older classrooms know my children's names and when and what supplies they need. Rosa the director, is always out on the floor providing support to her staff, greeting parents, and ensuring that everything is running smoothly. I feel my children have learned great socialization skills and are more prepared for school thanks to this facility. When I pick up my daughter at the end of the day, it smells like a home cooked meal. Before we leave, the staff informs me of how her day went, and provides a warm goodbye to us. I recommend this Kids Kountry to all parents who plan to utilize a day-care facility and especially those parents who are extra worried like I was in the beginning.

I want to say that we love this daycare. The teachers are all amazing Crystal and Katie work in the babies room. Ive had my son in this daycare since he was about 6 months old. To bre honest like any mother i was scared but excited because i knew thr learning benefit here would have. The teachers are amazing and keep me in the loop with everything that goes on with my son. The Director Rosa is always pleasant to deal with and is in thr rooms helping where is needed. I especially want to thank them for continuing to provide services to families who are essential workers like my husband and myself!!! Thank you all for treating my son like your own!!

My son has been going to this day care since he was 6 months and now he’s 2 1/2. I’ve never had an issue and always feel great about leaving my son in care of the great teachers! Celine, Claudia and Vanessa always let me know how my son does during the day and I can always tell they put time and care into all the kids!
