Kids Kare Child Care

I toured both locations and a few other daycares in the area , they were nice however it’s very odd to me that parents are not allowed in the classrooms . I used to work in daycare for 7 years and there is absolutely no reason why parents work 40 + hours a week and pay for childcare to barerly see there own children ans can’t even step foot into the building for two seconds to interact with the teachers face to face , see artwork on the walls and just get a sense of wellbeing seeing the classroom they spend most of there time in. asked if on the first day of school my child and I could just spend a couple mins in the classroom to allow him to transition well to the new environment . She told me this would be unfair to the other parents . The only daycare I worked in that did now allow an open door policy knew parents were not allowed in the building and now they are shut down for child abuse because the parents had no idea what happened behind closed doors , That is ridiculous , found a place and I’m able to walk in put my stuff down and touch base with the teacher , this is how it should be . In addition to that they barerly spoke with me about the daycare just went straight to the money and made it sound like I had to pay a bunch of fees before he could start and then looked me up and down and said “if you think you can make payment on the FIRST day then we can add him to the list And looked me up and down like (she must not be able to afford this ) look . Last but not least I brought up that my son had severe allergies and she said most likely she will need to sit by himself , I let Them know he can sit near other children just needs to be watched and he is very smart about his allergies . She stated “ we do not have the staff for that he will just sit away” To the parents trying to find new childcare there are many options of daycare with an open door policy , diversity, aware of allergies and nice about payment options

Couldn't choose anywhere else for our daughter and our grandkids!!! The Jennie and staff are AMAZING!!!! So much heart and caring mindset. They make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualized way! We are very thankful!!!

It was around 10-15 years ago I was in one of the classrooms when it was lunch time. there was raviolis and I didn't want them BUT NO THE ONE OF THE CARE TAKERS PUT ME IN A CHAIR AND FORCED FEED ME RAVIOLIS WHILE THREATNING TO PUT ME IN THE BABY ROOM FOR NOT HAVING RAVILOIS. THIS IS MY STORY I HATED IT THERE ONE TIME IN THE BASEMENT WE WERE PLAYING BINGO THE LADY SAID i-4 OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND I WAS LIKE OH OK ITS NOT THERE BUT SHE YELLED AT ME WHEN IT WAS IN FACT NOT THERE IT WAS NEVER THERE AND SO I CRIED BECUASE I WAS BEING YELLED AT BY A GROWN WOMEN SAYING IT WAS THERE WHEN IT WAS NOT I HATED THIS PLACE AND I WILL NEVER HAVE RAVILOIS AGAIN BECAUSE OF THAT

We needed a place in a pinch and this was a great option.
