We absolutely love this school; for our three little ones. When we started going there we had a two year old, a three year old, and one in the belly. Both kiddos love, loved all the teachers, the backyard, water play in the summer, activities, and all of the learning. Our baby started going there at 4 weeks and there is not other place that I would have trusted more than the fantastic people at Kids Kampus to watch over him. Their infant room is great! Plenty of comfy room to scoot around, get in some quiet rest, and be loved on! I wish we could have stayed there forever or have Kids Kampus relocated to the other side of town where we live ;). Thank you everyone at Kids Kampus for being the best mommies to our little ones and caring for them! We cannot say enough great things about everyone here :)
Kids Kampus has been the most amazing experience for my family. The staff is amazing and work well together with the children as a team. They are prepared, professional, caring, and make the environment fun and interactive for the kids. Both my 6 year old and 4 year old (both high-energy little boys) attend Kids Kampus for before and after school hours as well as for preschool. Ms. Karen, the 4's preschool teacher, is AMAZING. She works so well with the children and my 4 year old LOVES going to school. The curriculum is advanced in for preparing them for Kindergarten.
I have 3 children that go to Kids Kampus after school. They get picked up from school and taken to the center 5 days a week. The gals there are super friendly and always let me know how my kids behaved that day when I ask them. If I ever have any special requests regarding my kids, they are easily accepted. Tara, the Director, always gets back to me when I call or email her. Even on weekends! That lady never stops! All in all, lovely place where I feel my kids are safe and happy and that's all a mother could ask for.
We love Kids Kampus! We send our 4 year old and 6 month old twins there. The staff is very responsive, and cares deeply for the children. Everyday when I pick the babies up, one of the baby room workers is playing with my boys. Every morning, my older daughter runs into class to hug and tell her teacher the exciting things that happened at home the night before. As an elementary school teacher, I'm very impressed by their curriculum. They have experiments in science classes, they do cooking projects, the kids have Spanish class twice a week, it's amazing! My daughter knows her alphabet and can count to 100 in two languages! With all of the classroom activities they have, the children still have a lot of opportunity for play based learning, so important at that age. I would totally recommend Kids Kampus!!
I wouldn't recommend this daycare. My 5 year old attended Kids Kampus for a few months and cried every single day I left her there. She usually warms up fairly quick to new people and surroundings. I thought it would pass once she was there a while but it didn't. Rather then try and comfort my daughter about her new surroundings, she was told "if you don't stop crying you will go sit on a cot by yourself, until you can be quiet". That's a great way to welcome a new child into your daycare. I was finally able to find a new daycare that could transport to her school and pulled her out immediately. Longest most heartbreaking few months for both of us. I felt guilty every day when I left her. We started her at a daycare just down the road and what do you know, a previous Kids Kampus employee (who I hadn't seen while my daughter was attending) was hired. She mentioned one day she had worked for Kids Kampus and we got to talking and she told me the staff were mean to the kids, she saw one staff member kick a child, the baby teacher would leave the babies alone in the room for extended periods of time. She ended up quitting. I would pick my daughter up and she would be sitting by herself crying. She informed me one afternoon when I picked her up that another child had choked her. I was basically home so I called and asked why no one had informed me of the incident. The gal on the phone said she would get the details and call me back. Never received a call back and the next day when I asked again they all acted like they didn't know anything had happened. Finally, 3 days after the incident they gave me details about what had happened. It was one thing after another at Kids Kampus. I still feel awful for having to send my daughter there as long as I did. This is just one persons experience but I know when I was shopping around for daycare ,after Kids Kampus, it was nice to see feedback from people about the establishment. Hope I can save someone the heart ache I felt for my daughter.
