What Parents Say
Kiddie Castle Learning Center receives mostly positive reviews praising staff friendliness, caring teachers, academic growth, and a clean facility. However, two negative reviews raise serious concerns about teacher conduct, lack of parent-teacher communication, and operational gaps in safety protocols.
We absolutely love this preschool! In such a short amount of time, my grandchildren have learned so much, and it truly shows every day. The staff is incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely caring—they make you feel welcomed the moment you walk in. It’s clear that the teachers are passionate about what they do and truly care about each child’s growth, both academically and emotionally. The environment is warm, safe, and engaging, which makes learning fun and exciting for the kids. As a grandparent, it gives me so much peace of mind knowing they are in such great hands. I highly recommend this school to any family looking for a place where their children will be nurtured, supported, and set up for success. This preschool is truly something special!
This preschool is not the same school it was before, and that is such a good thing. Since the new directors have taken over, there have been so many positive changes that truly make a difference for families. One of the biggest improvements is being able to walk our children back to their classrooms and actually see their rooms every day. That level of transparency and involvement means so much to parents and grandparents alike. Another great update is the new sign-in system. Instead of just signing in on a piece of paper, there is now a secure computer system with personal codes, which shows how much the new leadership values organization and safety. You can really tell the school has been reevaluated and reset with intention and care. A huge shout-out to Miss Rachel, who truly seems to be the face of it all. Her leadership, dedication, and hands-on approach have clearly driven these amazing changes. Because of the progress made under the new directors, I confidently recommend this school to everyone. The difference is noticeable, and it’s been a wonderful experience for our family.
The school is passable, but if you have children under 4 years old, I don't recommend taking them here. The teacher, Maria, is mean and acts nice in front of the parents, but when we're not there, she hits them. More than 4 children have complained in the same classroom.
I do not recommend this facility. My two children, 5 and 2, attended this center for about 3 months and during this time we experienced lack of communication with the teachers and staff. Parents are not permitted to go back to the classrooms to drop off or pick up children so I very rarely got the chance to talk to their teachers. The management wants the teachers to use the app to communicate with parents but in my experience it was hardly used. And when it was, it was just a photo without a caption or description. We did notice there are paper reports they used that informed parents of daily activities like meals, diaper changes, and naps however they only used that form if they needed to communicate needing wipes or diapers. When we asked for that form daily they said the app should be used but then didn’t use the app. Other more serious concerns came up with the lack of staff awareness on simple topics such as transportation and my children were used as Guinea pigs to find holes in their operation which is not how a childcare facility should be run. I think the management is trying to fix things but if I was you I would steer clear at least for another year or two. It is very disappointing the lack of good childcare facilities in Lake County.
My kids been there since they were babies !! Love the school . Especially the assistant director Ms. Racheal
