Kiddie Academy

Both of my children enjoy attending Kiddie Academy. My daughter’s favorite part of summer vacation is the field trips that kiddie academy offers. My son is a very on the go kid, his pre-k teachers manage him very well and provide him with multiple stimulates throughout the day to help him through. We appreciate the whole kiddie academy team.

We've had such a wonderful experience with Kiddie Academy! Our child has been attending for almost 2 months and we couldn’t be happier with the care, attention, and love they receive every day. The staff is incredibly nurturing, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. The environment is safe, clean, and filled with fun, educational activities that keep our child engaged and excited to go back each day. We've seen so much growth in their social and developmental skills since starting here. I also LOVE the camera access for my child’s room. Communication with parents is excellent—they keep us informed with regular updates and photos, which we really appreciate. We truly feel like part of a community. Highly recommend Kiddie Academy to any family looking for a caring and enriching place for your child. Also shoutout to Ms. Veda for being AMAZING:)

Our son started at KA Powell when he was 2.5 months old and we have had nothing but a great experience. We have transition through their infant and waddler programming and now enrolled in Toddled. The schedule for the students is great and our son loves that he gets to play outside twice a day now (weather permitting). The staff is caring, compassionate and they truly care about their students!

I am a first time mom and I was really reluctant to send my child to daycare, but since this facility has cameras that provided relief and the good reviews also helped. HOWEVER, the first day they had my newborn crying for 20+ minutes on the edge of the mat in the walkway where she almost got stepped on by one of the staff members. I was mortified. My child was the youngest there and I don’t understand why they had her positioned that way. I immediately stopped taking her to this daycare! They kept my deposit after only taking her there for one day! I DO NOT recommend this place!

Kiddie Academy of Powell goes above and beyond in every single meaning of the phrase. The educational support, the social support, and the emotional support that they provide both my children and myself is enormous. I never imagined being so comfortable and confident when I drop my children off at preschool. I have three children that are in preschool with Kiddie Academy, so we have experience with multiple teachers and classrooms. Every single person I’ve met there has been phenomenal. Another layer for me when initially searching for schools was that my oldest has some extra needs. I expressed concern about the developmental delays and whether my child was appropriate for their environment. The staff were more than open to exploring and we enrolled him after discussing it a bit more and introducing everyone. I am so thankful as son is thriving in the environment in every way. Beyond grateful for the compassionate, intelligent, and well-equipped staff at kiddie academy Powell, but especially the director. I have never met a more selfless, real, and kind person. They are lucky to have her, and we are too 💙. For those thinking of sending their kids, I will list some of the additional reasons that I decided this was our school - CAMERAS. I love being able to check in on my kids and see how they’re doing. I trust the teachers at Kiddie Academy to the fullest extent, but it does provide peace of mind. - EDUCATION. The class rooms and lessons are perfectly set up for my children and their growing minds. - ACCEPTANCE. Having a child that is developmentally delayed comes with its own challenges. Without hesitation, Kiddie Academy was ready and willing to help support my child. Once they were able to establish that they had that means to care for him, they opened their arms to my family. My son has made gigantic strides every single day and is becoming a more confident and capable boy. - FLEXIBILITY. Every single time I have asked for help or a change in schedule or some sort of assistance. Kiddie Academy has done what they can to accommodate. As a single parent, this is life saving! - WORTH THE COST. I have no cons besides the fact that in 2023 and it cost a kidney to send your kid to any prek, but that is not unique to Kiddie Academy. For those who are considering preschools, this is a good deal and my money is well spent. They get fed and cared for better than they do at home!!! They have been very accommodating when I have needed adjustments within the scope of the prek contract. To anyone seeking childcare, this is the gold standard. I would recommend Kiddie Academy to any parent looking for not only care for their child, but a community for them to grow. To our friends at Kiddie Academy, keep up the good work!
