Just Like Home II Childcare Center

My oldest daughter went to this daycare from birth to age 5. She learned so much during those 5 years. We never had any bad experiences the whole time she attended. This is the cleanest, most friendly daycare in the area. If we still lived close enough I’d have my younger kids enrolled. Thank you, Just Like Home, for a wonderful daycare experience.

I am writing this review from the grandmother experiences and not as the retired previous owner of Just Like Home II. I am super sensitive to the people I allow to care for my grandson because of being in the field and having the knowledge that I have obtained through Early Childhood Development Education, as well as experiences that I have encountered being in this career setting. Our children are the most precious gifts God has given us the responsibility to care for. No other gift compares in my opinion. So, I must know that the person caring for my children have that same opinion and have the same heart and respect for our little people. A little under two years ago my first grandson was born and when it came time for him to receive childcare I accompanied his mother in her search. She too had to be comfortable with her decision regarding his care. Just Like Home II had several “Pros” that she couldn’t find in other facilities in town. Things that are important to us are Safety, Nutrition, Education, Staff and Atmosphere. All of these categories were met above and beyond our expectations. The staff make you feel like you are right at home and they are sensitive to the way you care for your baby at home so that the transition is less impactful on the baby. They follow the guidance you request from them about your child’s nutrition. They take nutrition very seriously seeing that they have a great influence on the child that eats with them two out of three meals on average. The security of the facility is important to the staff/owner as well. The atmosphere and staff are friendly and inviting and caring and they go above what is expected of them to make childcare a pleasant experience for both the parent and the child. Just Like Home II Childcare is the best daycare in town!

My daughter loved it when we had her enrolled. We took her out because of staying home full time and it wasn’t needed. Just Like Home is family based and loves what they do. The teachers are wonderful and anytime I called to check on my daughter they took time to let me know how she was doing. I gave 5 stars because they truly love each of the kids that attend and want to make sure they are taken care of. Y’all check them out if you ever need a daycare! 😊

I absolutely would not recommend this daycare to anyone....the teacher turnover is ridiculous and the management is even worse. There is only one teacher left at this daycare that was there when my kids first started about 2 years ago....since then this place has gone down hill. I used to love this place but in the last few months...all I can see is how money hungry the owner is...its not about the kids anymore. It's more about how much can I charge these parents before they've decided they've had enough...oh and good lord when the parents have had enough the owners first response is to kick the kids out of the daycare. I would avoid this place at all cost.

Two things that stood out to me when our son attended Just like Home, was the longevity of the employees. They over 5 staff who have been there since the place opened. The second thing was the food. As a doctor, I know the importance of nutrition and I love that they put great effort in feeding the kids well. Great environment!!
