My son started attending ISLA when he was 6 months old till 3 years old. ISLA is AMAZING and I've recommended them time after time. There has always been wonderful communication with staff and myself. My son is full of energy and they granted him so much patience and grace. I would have left him here longer but he needed intervention for his behavior so he is now in BISD school. But I refuse to use anyone else for drop-ins. He loved going and he still misses ISLA. I will utilize them for pick-ups once he starts at OM Roberts because I don't trust anyone else with my son's life.
Our small business is in a unique situation where we are allowed to be guests in many local daycares. All three Imagination Stations are three of the best daycares around. Every time our dance teachers visit their locations for ballet classes, we witness a loving environment, happy children, and professional and fair owners who have created a daycare and business culture we are proud to be a small part of. Our small business highly recommends that you visit with ISLA to learn more if you are looking for a childcare provider.
My son attended this daycare at the age of 1 he started at the Angleton location which is the better location out of the two. We had no issues at the Angleton location. However, we moved and I transferred him to the Lake Jackson location. At first I felt comfortable with my child going here due to the cameras and the ability to watch them throughout the day. But one day after picking him up from the Lake Jackson location my child came home with a 1st degree burn under his chin. I was told that he pulled a hot glue gun down from a shelf (which I don’t believe). Not to mention an exposed hot glue gun should not be around 1 year olds. They did not call home or notify me. I had to call & go up there to get answers that day once I realized the burn was there. I was told they didn’t call because he didn’t cry!!! Infuriating. The story was a lie I believe the hot glue gun was in one of the teachers hands when it came in contact with my child chin. The manager told me that staff should not have those object around small children. They fired the teacher who was in the class at the time and responsible. They knew they were in the wrong because they refunded me and didn’t make me pay for the week I withdrew him. (As if I was going too) I re watched the footage which showed multiple children in the same area where they said he pulled the cord of the hot glue gun from a shelf. If I’m correct pulling down a hot glue gun from a high shelf as a toddler wouldn’t of landed under his chin. Anyways after watching the footage I reported them and got cps involved. This place proved to me that camera mean nothing! Please be careful where you choose for child care. And if you have to choose Imagination Station choose the Angleton location. But considering what happens to my child they’re over priced for absolutely nothing.
