What Parents Say
High Point Child Care Learning Center has overwhelmingly negative reviews citing serious safety and operational concerns. Parents report understaffing, inadequate supervision, staff misconduct including abuse allegations, poor hygiene, and lack of consistent teacher assignments. One positive review praised it as a safe place, but this is vastly outweighed by numerous accounts of neglect and mismanagement.
The classrooms are generally always under ratio, the owner lives in another state and is only interested in the daycares she opened when they stop putting money in her pockets. They advertise quality childcare and learning, but it is offered at a premium price and is sub-par at best. There were reports of a teacher yelling at small children, and CPS was even called at one point. In short, if you're looking for a place to care for your child, look elsewhere. You CAN find better for your money.
Is there a negative star option, because that is what this place deserves. This facility is a joke and needs to be shut down. The current director, (as of 8-21-17) or lack there of is a liar, unable to control her temper with parents and tells other staff members that "she would like to go over the desk at a mom," with other parents and staff present to hear, and also tells a parent that she doesn't have time to watch their kid. But since directors don't last long I'm sure this one won't either. Students, particularly my child are made to sit at a table woth there heads down not allowed to look or speak to anyone, or left in the front office for long periods of time alone while the office workers or director do other things around the building. Half the teachers are not trained to work in that environment. There is one teacher who has had multiple state calls made and CPS reports made yet is still employed and working with the infants. There are maybe 4 faces that have stayed current in the year and half that my son was there, no other hired staff stays past a couple weeks due to conditions in this facility. They do not follow state regulations with meals either, children are left hungry all day only getting nibbles of food and it be called breakfast or lunch. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
NO NO NO. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILD HERE! Constantly rotating staff who are underpaid and under trained. Child to staff ratio is always off with way too many children to teacher. You can find better and should. Do not work here and definitely DO NOT put any child in their care. The owner only cares when money isn't going to her pocket. The children always should be put first.
Allowing people who abuse children to work here! Worker had a “prior” incident and was allowed to stay with no investigation then breaks another babies arm! Had policies been followed they would have seen the disturbing surveillance footage of the first incident but it took two innocent babies to be harmed before something was done! SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!
The keep changing teachers. My toddler loved it at first but then he hated it. The policies are annoying. In term of technology, they dont use an app to be in touch with the teacher. Instead, they use papers they fill everyday but most of thr times I receive it blank.
