What Parents Say
Central Methodist Child Care receives mostly positive reviews praising the caring staff, family-like environment, and child preparation for school. However, recent negative reviews raise concerns about disability discrimination and staff rudeness at the front desk.
We absolutely love this daycare for our youngest son.He is turning two in August and has been there since he was 6 months old! I was one of those parents who was anxious about leaving their kid, they were so kind and patient with me and assured me he was in great hands. They send updates and pictures throughout the day and keep me notified on my son. His teachers have become apart of our family. We love the staff and the environment. Highly recommend!
I love this place! When you walk through those door you are family. I love the Director and since she has taken over the Center everything has changed for the better. The staff is amazing and they love the children in the center. The children are loved, well educated, and prepared for school. The children and families are the number one priority. I can't say enough on how much I love this center.
14 solid years is how long I have been dedicated to this childcare. My oldest son in the infant room is where it started. Back then I couldn’t stand to not be around my child and i decided to work at Central myself. I quickly realized once he became older that I have no desire to be around children. IT TAKES A SPECIAL SOMEONE to take care of children all day long and I am not that someone. I don’t ever feel the need to go into detail about Google reviews but when I seen the bad reviews central has I feel like it’s necessary to speak out. The review below me from Laura is based on her personal feelings. She seems to feel that once she was friends with the director and when she didn’t get her way she felt like it’s necessary to slander someone’s name. All 5 of my children have went through Central childcare until pre school graduation - I feel like as a parent I’ve had a lot of up and downs. I have a strong opinion on how I want my children to be treated and because everyone is human it’s fair to say that someone’s expectations cannot always be met the way people feel it’s fit. When my expectations were not met I always was able to talk to Mandy (the director) and she went above and beyond to ensure my needs as a parent for my children are met. I’m saying this in the most humble way because it seems impossible at times to make me happy. All personal feelings aside and the fact that I have seen Mandy grow into this incredible role model and leader at Central Childcare the staff wonderful. Some of these teachers have been at Central longer than I am alive and that speaks great volume. 5 out of 5 and if I could give you more I would. Thank you for the years of dedication to my children and myself.
Use to love this place and the director but it seems the job has gone to her head. My son had an undiagnosed disability last year and was dismissed from summer camp. I was told my daughter can come this year but he can’t. Turning a child away with a disability is illegal and discrimination. I have been with this place for over 10 years. It says a lot when the teachers who’ve been there that long are the ones leaving for new employment. It’s sad. 2 years ago I would have given them a 5 star rating.
Ashley, at the front, is too mean to talk with. She kept silence after you asked questions during phone conversation and kept repeating the same sentence with inpatient attitude. Hope she no longer work there, otherwise how could this daycare teach the kids to be polite and nice?
