I have two children here, we’re only on day 4…. I’ll come back to change my review in time. As for now, I was told we could have an app for daily updates & photos, day one I got no updates, nothing at all. I had to call day two to get updates on my children. At pickup we didn’t get to speak to our children’s teachers to see how they did (every day we don’t get to talk to any teachers) Pickup is pretty chaotic. They changed both of my children’s clothes with no note as to why. I was told they help potty training, they put my son back into a diaper because in order to use the bathroom they need a child to need “minimum help” it’s his first daycare ever so he’s nervous and scared they decided to put him in a diaper he’s almost 3…so I thought they’d have more patience & understanding that it’s so new to him he’s gonna need help. Each day at pickup they’re covered in marker on their hands & face, my 1.5 always has maker up his nose & has old food dried on his face. My youngest has come home with the same juice in his cup that I sent him with each morning. He comes home so thirsty like he didn’t have his cup all day. From being a stay at home mom to sending my two boys to daycare is an adjustment on my children & myself! I know my children won’t get as much love & care as I give, but for the rates, the money towards uniforms, the big supply list, I just had more hope for this place. Maybe they’re understaffed. Our tour was great the owner was thorough, very kind & said how attentive her staff was. The owner told my husband & I about the app for updates…which are blurry photos once a day if lucky, late updates on what they ate sometimes, if they had a changed diaper, nap time ect. It’s hard to not know what your child is eating, drinking, if they’re having potty accidents, if they’re making friends, if they’re having a good day or a bad day, it’s just sad to not know what going on in my babies day. This is my honest review, kind owner, but very impersonal daycare. I know the teachers are trying their best, they’re tired & human too with good & bad days! Just wish it was more personal & hands on with updates.

I feel incredibly blessed to have my two children attending HOC full-time and my oldest child in the afterschool program for almost two years. The school teaches them strong principles and values based on faith, and the teachers are exceptionally loving. My children absolutely adore their teachers, which brings me so much peace as a mom, knowing they are being treated with care and kindness. I enrolled my youngest at just 9 months old, which, as any mother can relate, is a difficult decision. However, the school made the transition seamless, and now at age two, she is always excited to see her teachers. Overall, I am a happy and confident mom, working in peace, knowing my children are in great hands.

Absolutely thrilled! From the moment we walked in, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure our child's happiness and well-being. The activities they provide are not only fun but also educational, helping our little one to thrive and learn new skills every day. The facility is clean, safe, and well-organized, which gives us peace of mind while we’re at work. We couldn't be happier with our choice and highly recommend to any parent looking for a nurturing environment for their child! Thank you for all that you do! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Heart of a child is a super nice welcoming place. The staff are very respectful and friendly, Love how clean and organize the classrooms are. My daughter is now 2 and 1/2 years old and loves the teachers. I can see her growth throughout her time being here. I totally recommend this place to all my family and friends.

Heart of a Child is a great daycare/school. It's a great option in a world when sending your kids can be a little scary at times. They create a safe and loving environment where kids can grow and thrive. Their curriculum challenges and prepares the kids to be competitive to their peers while maintaining a biblical worldview and moral compass. Highly recommend.
