What Parents Say
Gingerbread House I in Kissimmee receives consistently excellent feedback from parents across multiple generations. Parents praise the center's long-standing quality of care, attentive and caring staff, developmental focus, and engaging activities. Many families have remained enrolled for years and recommend the facility highly.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this daycare! I actually attended here as a child, and now my own children have been enrolled since they were 20 months old—and they are still happily attending today. That alone says so much about the consistency and trust this center has built over the years. The quality of care has never changed… if anything, it has only gotten better, which is truly impressive considering how great they have always been. The staff provides such intentional attention to each child, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and supported every single day. What stands out most is their strong focus on development. They are always working with me to meet my child’s individual needs and keeping open, clear communication about progress, goals, and daily experiences. It truly feels like a partnership. It’s rare to find a place that maintains such high standards over time while continuing to grow and improve. I’m so grateful my children get to experience the same nurturing environment that meant so much to me growing up. Highly recommend!
I am deeply disappointed and upset with the treatment my family received at this daycare after nearly three years of enrollment. Recently, my daughter, who has a speech delay, was abruptly discharged without proper notice or communication. We received a letter stating that her behavior had become a "growing concern." However, during a conference meeting earlier this year, no significant complaints were mentioned—only that she needed speech therapy. The sudden decision feels unjustified and poorly handled. What’s most troubling is that her previous teacher, Mrs. Laura, demonstrated patience and understanding, successfully working with her needs. Unfortunately, her current teacher claimed they could no longer manage her, prompting the discharge. This situation has left me questioning the daycare's ability to care for children with diverse needs. If your staff lacks the patience or expertise to handle children with developmental delays, they should not be working in this field. To add to the frustration, the daycare planned to keep her enrolled for several more months despite claiming they couldn’t manage her, raising concerns about their motives. I ultimately decided to withdraw her immediately rather than prolong the situation. Parents, if you have children with unique needs, I strongly urge you to reconsider before trusting this daycare with your child’s care and development.
My great grandson attends day care here and they are just wonderful with the children! Many creative activities to keep little hands busy as well as actively learning. Congratulations on your wonderful contribution to child care and learning.
My apologies! 🙏🙏 sincerely. Your school looks wonderful by the way.
My son started when he was two years old, today he is 5 years old and he loves gingerbread house ❤️this place is excellent, the food is healthy and delicious, the teachers are very attentive and kind to children. I can not wait for my daughter to turn two and start at this daycare. They always have activities where children learn and even parents and teachers have fun... always grateful to Miss Evelyn, Miss Rosie, Miss Ana for your help and care of my son. THANK YOU!
