What Parents Say
Groomed for Greatness Learning Center receives mostly positive reviews praising the staff's warmth, educational quality, and child development outcomes. However, one detailed negative review raises serious concerns about management responsiveness, child safety incidents, cleanliness standards, and handling of custody documentation.
My son has been going to this daycare since October of 2024 his mother enrolled him into it because her other kids went there so forth blah blah. My son was around 6 to 8 months old around that time I was paying the daycare in full paying child support and going thru a custody battle and had paper work from the courts to prove I had legal joint custody of my son expressed that to the director several times for a whole year and some months she disregarded my request for information and suspended me from the procare portal for weeks and couldn’t even get the daily check ups for my son for weeks. It started off with him being bit by kids more than once not only that kicked in the face etc and I’m having to fill out more than 4 incident injury reports and recently he was bit again not that long ago by someone on his back (broken skin) over a toy. And I’m around him all the time so I know they made up some stuff to put on my son just to make themselves look good. Throughout the legal process the Director of the Program sided with my son mother until it got to the point they removed me from the procare portal and I was told I couldn’t come visit him when I wanted to and I have legal documents saying that I could. Its plenty of words to describe how unprofessional the Director is and overcrowded this daycare is at the same time to the point its been unsanitary but I think a lot of parents look past it because it’s cheap. My son ended up getting RSV last year around November and I questioned them they Lied and say that they have maid cleaning services that comes and sanitize the facility until one day I seen someone sweeping and it was a pile of dirt of the floor so I’m sure those mats they use for kids to rest on are not sanitary as well actually it’s been plenty of times I sent my son here with new socks and he come home and his sock are completely trashable and I started giving him showers right away because they wasn’t properly wiping him etc. putting wet clothes in trash bags sending back saying that they wash certain stuff in the facility which I knew it was a lie. It was times plenty of his bibs when missing socks went missing and a few other things that was never returned that I purchase. And one thing I will never do is make up something to make a establishment look bad but this ain’t it I will pay more to make sure my son is safe else where and get what he deserves as a kid. I wouldn’t recommend this daycare to a friend of a stranger. ✌️
if I could leave them more stars I would! my daughter has been going to the school for a little while now and her improvements have been ridiculous I mean she learns so much and what she learns she actually uses every day. The teachers are amazing, the directors are amazing, it’s really just a great environment for kids to learn and be in. I definitely recommend this school for anyone thinking about enrolling… do it! you won’t regret it.
We had to leave to California but I felt so comfortable leaving my three year old toddler Nilo here for a whole year. The teachers were endearing towards him and he grew sooo much socially and academically. I never had any incidents with anyone here. I feel they were eager to see Nilo every day. I will miss this place for sure.
I moved to Virginia for work on short notice, and they were able to find a spot for my daughter right away. All of the ladies were so kind, and my daughter loved going there. I felt that my daughter was well taken care of, and she had nothing but great experiences there. Thank you ladies for taking my daughter in, and being so understanding and flexible with our schedule. Highly recommend this daycare to take care of your children!
My now almost 7 months old son has been attending this center since 3 months old. No serious complaint other than that I have arrived at 0600 for drop off and they have been late to open up several times. Other than that and the recent headlines in the news of the four month baby being burned, I know for a fact my son is very well taken care of and the staff love my him, they rave about him almost every time I pick him up.
