As a new mom looking for a daycare for my 3 month old son I was convinced nobody could care for my baby as good as I could. We ended up choosing GLCDC for our son and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Miss Chelsie and Miss Mary Lou in the infant room are so wonderful with the babies and you can tell they genuinely love them. My son has also had wonderful experiences in the older toddler rooms, all of those teachers have been great too. My son has serious food allergies and the teachers have been so supportive and careful to make sure he doesn't get a hold of anything he cannot eat. We're so grateful to the staff at GLCDC.
We’ve been taking our baby to GLCDC since she was 9 weeks (now 5 months) and we absolutely love it. Having to put her in daycare when I returned to work was so difficult. But, we took solace in the fact that she was being taken care of by such compassionate, attentive, and kind caretakers. Our daughter is happy and content every day when we pick her up. That’s all we could ever ask for!
All 3 of my children have attended GLCDC. My oldest graduated preschool from there (she is 10 now), my middle attended birth-3 years, when we moved out of the area. We moved back and my now 3 year old has been attending since last fall. My nephews and niece have all attended. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff, the curriculum, the care, and our overall personal experience. I've been telling them since our daughter attended, I would keep my I kids there through high school if I could.
My two sons attend this daycare and we couldn't be happier with the decision to send them to GLCDC. The teachers are very caring, my older son is academically ahead of where he should be for starting Kindergarten in the fall, and my kids enjoy their Italian and German language classes.
My daughters came from a daycare that was closed on a Friday and I was told that same day. As a mother I was desperate to find a daycare that same day I call Great Lakes and spoke with Mrs. Patricia and she told me to come in Monday morning. When I came with my daughters and mom we left with a smile on our faces. Everything was up to date and they teach the children. I would recommend this place to everyone I know. My daughters will be starting this upcoming Monday.
