Gateway Academy - Northlake

My daughter loves it here! She’s been here from about 5 months to now and she’s currently 16 months and we fully trust the team. Her previously teachers, Ms Kim, Ms. Kate and her current teacher Ms Nicole are a blessing. Everyday when my daughter arrive, they speak to her by name, smile or even give her a hug. There’s times my daughter doesn’t even say bye to me as she is too excited to be there with her teachers and her friends. As first time parents, it’s hard to trust someone with your child but when I drop her off, I feel so much ease knowing she is taken care of. We also receive daily pictures which is a plus! Ms Stacey and Ms Gwen are great as well and always greet us with a smile and try their best to answer any questions or concerns we have.

We have enjoyed our time with Cadence Academy Northlake - their team of educators take the time to get to know their children, they are responsive and nurturing. Their director and leadership demonstrate care through daily interactions and the teaching teams are great!

Cadence Academy is such a wonderful school! My daughters have been going here for years. My girls always leave so happy and we have never had a problem. Stacy, the academy's director, is professional and so kind. Her staff are friendly and I feel completely at ease leaving my children in such wonderful care. My youngest just finished her last year at Cadence and she is 100 percent ready for kindergarten. She has learned how to write her name, all her letters and sounds and the correct formations. She has memorized sight words and began reading leveled books. Her growth this year academically has blown me out of the water and I owe so much to her preschool for working with her while she is in their care. I am so thankful for the experience we have had at this facility.

Being new to area my husband and I had been searching for a school for our son. And we couldn’t have chosen a better place. Our son is non verbal autistic and we were concerned for him, after the first two weeks of being here we have seen him progressing. The teachers are great, they care and they take time to care for each child. Even the director Mrs Stacy has been so helpful and very patient with us being 1st time parents. Not to mention they help potty train your kids, they teach them Spanish, as a whole I’m so grateful for this school and how they have impacted my child and our family. We are very grateful and wouldn’t want our son to be anywhere else.

My twins began attending Cadence Academy last Fall after we had a traumatic experience at another daycare in downtown Charlotte. Immediately I was impressed with the warm welcome that both my children were given, the attention to my daughters special requirements, and the incredible professionalism from both the owner and the teachers. It wasn’t long at all until we felt truly cared for by the staff. Another thing that really impressed me was the amount and quality of food that my children were given. My children getting fed well is extremely important to me. My children have attended multiple other daycare’s in Charlotte and this day care by far exceeds in quality of food and portion sizes. The staff is always extremely responsive, very friendly, and we feel right at home at the center and they make drop up and pick up pretty seamless. The owner is very easy to work with and has gone out of her way to help us. I would highly recommend this care center!
