What Parents Say
This appears to be a mismatch - the reviews are for Pierce College (a community college in Washington), not Garnero Child Development Center. Reviews are mixed, with praise for instructors and campus amenities, but significant complaints about administrative communication, academic advising quality, and disability accommodations processes.
Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I have been going here since late last year. My advisor is horrible. She basically setting me up to fail. Can’t talk to her without even setting up an appointment and when I finally do get setup she cancels with no explanation. She also expects me to know what classes to take. Oh, and with most of the teachers you have to reach out to them “before” classes start for them to give you a damn code to enroll in their class. Pathetic
Waste of US American Citizens and Taxpayers hard earned money. Should you really go to a community college - where the Administrators just simply want your money and only care about your money - where the Administrators say and write that they care about and are here to help you succeed plus help you feel safe & respected but their actual actions speak louder than what they said / wrote. In other words, they say and/or write they care about you, they say and/or write they want to help you succeed, they say and/or write they will help you feel equally respected and safe ( not controlled by any one such as Instructors and /or Professors misusing their power when their bosses are not watching them ) but they don't actually do what they said and or wrote to you , lol. Why should you go to a community college where the administrators are entitled, only want your money but don't actually care to help you practice your constitutional right to have access to education fairly and correctly. Where the Administrators don't actually care to help you succeed or at least execute actions that will actually help you succeed. Why should you waste or invest your hard earned money at a community college that simply wants your money, acts all nice until they have your money but then becomes entitled and tyrannical after you paid the tuition with your hard earned money ( and give you a very short time window on purpose 1 week for full refund ) . Why should you go to a community college where the Administrators and Instructors don't simply want to obey to what the Department of Education lawfully requires them to do ? Why should you go to a community college where the Administrators and Instructors simply abuse and misuse the funding that is given to them by the Local, State and Federal Government for their own personal benefits and barely use it on helping students actually succeed. Each of the Administrators in a Community College's administration and each staff member working at the Community College (specifically Academic Advisors and Instructors) need to realize that they are getting paid, again paid to actually execute actions that will actually help students succeed, feel safe, protected and equally respected rather than just saying / or writing those things to students. A Community College will not get funded by the local, state and federal government and each of the College's Administrators and staff members (specifically Academic Advisors and Instructors) will not get their salary anymore - if students stop applying at the Community College - if current students stop enrolling and/or don't enroll (cough pay tuition cough *) for the class and/or any class at the community college - if students stop applying for financial aid and stop accessing the financial aid department at the Community College Each of the Community College's administrators and staff members should be thankful and respectful towards students who invest their hard earned money in the Community College they (meaning each of the Community College's administrators and staff members specifically Academic Advisors and Instructors) are currently employed at otherwise they all won't get their salary and paid anymore if students stopped paying tuition to enroll in a class and/or any class at the Community College because of Each of the Community College's administrators and staff members (specifically Academic Advisors) unprofessional and extremely unfair behaviors/actions towards those students.

I started going to Pierce in late September, I dropped out of Pierce because they were no help at all what so ever & told me that It was likely that I was not going to be able to get into the pre-nursing program. So I decided to leave within the 2 weeks they give you to drop classes without charging for them and yet here I am being charged over 1,000 dollars for the 2 days that I actually attended their school. I tried contacting them so many times to get help to pay this off and even ask why I was being charged if I had left in the time period they gave me to drop out. I have emailed, called and gin in person so many times and have yet to be helped at all. The advisors and financial are literally the worst its like they couldn’t careless. Overall, I suggest not going to school here they’re the worst.
You can NEVER get a hold of anyone! You can only get an appointment if you take the day off and go into the campus in person. When you do get appointments, they call and cancel the appointment. Then, you have to repeat the process all over again! Also, their webpage sucks because you have to log into three different pages to access your canvas and a significant portion of the computer science classes are taught online using books you have to pay for but don’t get to keep. This school is a joke!
