If I could give 10 stars I would. My daughter is 19 months old and started here about 6 months ago and we absolutely LOVE this daycare! Everyone is very friendly, understanding, and supportive to both the children and the parents. I trust these people with my sweet girl every single day knowing that she is going to be taken care of. Ms Jenny is great and is really engaged with the babies and answers any questions I may have about my girls day. Kylie, Ms Annie, everyone there really is a god send. They also have a security system in place upon entry for safety which is absolutely great! This world is crazy, and it’s a big deal when you know your child is safe while you’re at work. They also offer childcare for school age children on the days that schools are closed down and that to me is going above and beyond seeing as most other daycares just close leaving the parents with no care and forcing them to take off work. So not only does my babygirl love it, so does my 9 year old! Every morning I drop my daughter off here she never cries and she is excited to see all of her friends and enjoy her activities and that to me, is peace of mind! And let me just say the ProCare app, is AMAZING! I love being updated on my babies day! You are notified when they eat, diapers are changed, naps, photos, I mean how cool is that!!? I just love this facility, the people in it, and would recommend to every parent that wants to see their child safe, happy, and cared for ❤️
Let’s start by saying my kids attended this daycare since 2020. Of course children have there issues and IM VERY UNDERSTANDING OF NEW TEACHERS. Annie she’s been there a while and I have no issue with her it is the way that this daycare is ran that makes no sense to me. Andrea in the 2 year old roomVERY GOOD. She goes ABOVE AND BEYOND and loves them babies like her own. Ms. Kora love her she’s very sweet. When it comes to communication and every teacher being on the same page, it is not the same thing!!!! I am a single mom of three children, so I expect a daycare to make my life as simple as possible. I am very understanding of what goes on in Daycare, but only can tolerate so much. My children from last August to the time that they were kicked out last month had multiple bruises scratching and bites on their arms, legs and backs not to mention the bullying that goes on is crazy. My five-year-old wears pull-ups at nap time and it’s in her memo. This is an every day thing. This has never changed so in the last year, my daughter has came home at least 2 to 3 times a week with wet clothes. When asked what happened I’m told that the teacher didn’t know or there was a teacher in there that was not qualified or my daughter did not listen. Just a lot of excuses. My two-year-old same thing. When my daughter transitioned into the 2 yard room, she was supposed to be potty trained on a set schedule and I was supposed to get a potty chart every day or be notified of what was going on. Not only was a lot of the potty charts written right before I came in a lot of of the time I did not get a potty chart they forgot and the schedule was not consistent. Not to mention, I might not get the clothes that day, but two or three days later, moldy and smelly in a bag. I repeatedly tell the teachers what needs my children need and they repeatedly tell me that they will tell each other they will make a note of it. This cannot happen again and it continues to happen. Some of the teachers are on their phones and do not pay attention to the children or cannot account for what happens to them when they have a mark a scratch, etc. So when I came in, I believe at the end of July to the beginning of August this year And I was informed that both my children had peed on themselves and something else happened with my son. Oh, not to mention the big kid room has no toys in it. There’s not many things to keep them occupied in the Daycare is out of date. The lady who is supposed to run the people in the daycare, not the owner her name is Kylie tells me these things. I immediately lose my cool. NO I’m not going to physically harm her, but because I have repeatedly REPEATLY TOLD THEM THINGS ABOUT MY CHILDREN AND THEY ARE NOT BEING FOLLOWED. I AM ANGRY AND I MAKE A SCENE. I tell her it is crazy to me how I have to keep repeating myself to grown adults about certain specific little things that keep going on. So because of what was said to her. The next day, when I brought my children, I was not allowed in the building nor am I allowed on premises my vouchers were removed. Understand I’m a mother with 3 children I work and go to school full time. The owner didn’t even have the audacity to call or send me a message about why it was removed. I find that unprofessional, inconsiderate and disrespectful. I was the longest running family in that daycare maybe one of the three But I never said anything negative about the Daycare. I always recommended to people. The thing about it is if you’re going to run a daycare, you need to be involved you need to see how it is run because you have people in there that are not doing their job correctly or put on the front and put on a smile but Do things that are not appropriate nor are they qualified. So my recommendation is DO NOT ATTEND THIS DAYCARE!!! Understand that I have a lot of different stories and a lot of different scenarios, but these are the particular ones that I can remember in the last six months.
I absolutely love this daycare!!! It is SO MUCH better since they have have new management, and all new staff! They ante always so happy and peppy and so loving towards the children. I trust them with my kid no doubt and my child absolutely loves going to this daycare as well, which is a super plus.
I’ve always feared putting my kids in child care or leave them with anyone but 3 different people in the last 12 years and I am so grateful that I found Funshine. Kylie Anna Ray go above and beyond to ensure the care for my baby who is breast feed and only be around me. and now 6 and 12 year old and no matter how many times I call they go check and put eyes on her to assure me that everything is okay with her! I love that I can come anytime just put my number in and walk right in. I literally sat their with my baby for the first three days and seen how it goes they didn’t know I was going to stay and that comforted me more than you know I seen how everything went and it’s just a loving and growing envirn My baby has been their for about three months now and the growth and safety she gets from their is nothing short of a blessing. Thank you all with all my heart for going above and beyond with each kids there!!!
Both of my children have attended Funshine, and still do. They brag about how much they love their teachers and their friends! They’ve excelled since starting there last year. I will always highly recommend this center!
