If your child is autistic, do not send them here. My family and I recently moved here, from Mississippi, of all places and my son is autistic. They were ok but really are not trained to deal with autistic babies. You will have to leave your job or responsibilities to go pick your autistic baby up if not every week every other week for one problem or another. They claim to have this big thing about the children being present at school so they can get their funds but if your child is autistic and they don’t want to deal with them they will bend the rules until you eventually pull them.

Best CDC in Charlotte We had just moved to Charlotte and got pregnant for the first time. Thus began the arduous task of selecting a CDC for our upcoming precious angel. Only the best would do. We looked. And looked. And then met Eleanor Toliver and her staff at First Ward CDC and knew that this was the place. We weren't disappointed. In fact, over the six years we were there, two daughters before entering Pre-K, I can say it was one of the best decisions we've ever made as parents. Is it perfect? Well, I don't think perfection exists, but FWCDC is as close to perfect as we can tell looking back. The staff is friendly, helpful, and accessible. Our daughters were always safe and engaged. They took little field trips into town. There were always arts and crafts. There was even a Spanish immersion teacher who would come by and work with the kids. Naturally, this all occurred before Google ratings when we now have the opportunity to publicly give a low rating to any organization just because you had a bad day. Or a receptionist may have had a bad moment. Both me and my wife, and even our daughters now who love going back to visit, would agree that there's no other place we wished we'd selected for the early development of our children than First Ward CDC. I wish we could give it ten stars.

We sent our son to First Ward CDC - a 3 year old boy who doesn't speak a word of English. The Montessori group is unique! In addition, very warm teaching staff, the Director and administration staff are amazing. We felt like at the family table. Full confidence and a smile on your face. My son asked me to pick him up later because he is feeling great and having fun and this is the best review I can write.

Send your child at your own risk, they DO NOT watch the children at all, My child has been hurt on a series of different occasions but Just recently I’ve HAD IT, They charge an arm & leg $300+ every week with mediocre care. My child stayed sick, Nose would literally stay runny every single week, When it would be time to pick my child up to go home their nose would look like it had been completely neglected. This week my child was injured on some of their METAL play equipment (MY CHILD JUST TURNED 3) & I received a call that my child was hurt but there was a series of stories being told of what happened which really means my child was not properly being supervised on the METAL equipment & moments later I received a call that my child had “Passed out” ….. Then the story changes to “they had a seizure” I say all of this to say half of them aren’t even there for the kids & I would give 0 stars if I could

THEY USE THE TODDLERS PULL-UPS, BABY DIAPERS, AND WIPES FOR OTHER TODDLERS AND BABIES MY SISTER JUST BOUGHT MY NEPHEWS PULL-UPS AND WIPES MONDAY AND THEY ARE CLAIMING THEY ARE GONE TODAY THERE IS NO WAY MY NEPHEWS 30 PACK OF PULL-UPS ARE GONE ALONG WITH A WHOLE BOX OF WIPES TODAY IS JUST FRIDAY WIPES AND PULL-UPS DO NOT RUN CHEAP TO BE SHARING WITH OTHER CHILDREN THEN YOU ALL DONT TELL A PARENT THAT THE AMOUNT SHE BOUGHT WASNT ENOUGH WHEN IT WAS MORE THEN ENOUGH. VERY UNORGANIZED AND UNPROFESSIONAL TO NOT HANDLE A SITUATION LIKE THIS PROPERLY. THEY ALSO NEED TO SANITIZE THE WHOLE DAYCARE WITH THEY NASTY SELVES . Please don’t try to sound professional on this review because y’all are very very unprofessional and unorganized organization, and there was no miscommunication. It was very clear that my nephew didn’t have wipes or diapers after they were bought during that week not only that another incident just occurred at your facility where he was bruised as you say it was an incident and it happened on a slide which it doesn’t look like that happened on a slide and for y’all to deny her of seeing the camera of what happened to her child is diabolical. Someone should have been watching my nephew on that slide so it wouldn’t have been an incident if that’s even the case professionalism is something that’s needed to run an organization and just by my opinion, y’all are not doing a very good job. Thank you so much for your response and make sure you take care love we’ll see you soon.
