First Choice For Children

The teachers are all great. They really work with you to help your child hit milestones. They played a huge role in helping get our son potty trained. The communication between the teachers and parents is great. They are always keeping us informed about our child. Our son is now 4 and in the preschool class and has been attending First Choice since he was 8 weeks old. He LOVEEEEESSSS going and gets so excited to go to school. He absolutely loves his teachers and friends at school.

Our family has been very happy with the level of care both our children have received at First Choice for Children. Our son attended from age 2 until he transitioned to kindergarten and our daughter, age 22 months, is currently attending. The staff is wonderful and caring and work very hard to create a nurturing environment that meets the needs of each child. I feel lucky to be able to drop my children off each day with staff who really knows them and works to help them grow. I have found the staff very accommodating to my needs and flexible to work with.

I can personally say this is the best daycare I've ever been to and had my child attend. When I first enrolled my son into daycare, it was back when he was about 2, and we chose a different daycare at the time. We were with them for a couple of years and then made the decision to start looking elsewhere for child care; and found First Choice for Children. Before even deciding to go here, just when we were touring and meeting the owner (My son was with me); they allowed him to sit in on circle time and he was so excited that he got to participate. I had pretty much already made up my mind by then. But had to go home with him and ask him and speak to my husband about what they thought. One of my favorite things when it comes to this daycare, is that I ALWAYS felt welcome. And my son had such an amazing time there; that he can't wait until his baby brother is born and gets to go there. I watched my son go from a daycare where he was bit by his own classmates (whom were quite past the age for biting to be 'appropriate') go to a daycare that 100% genuinely cared about his well being, his behavior, and most of all, how much fun he had when he learned. He always came home surprising me with new facts that he learned, or how much he loved his teachers, or his classmates. Changing daycares was the best decision I could have ever made!

If you have a child with slight Developmental Delays who needs to attend the Developmental Pre-School in the morning, they refuse to take you. They force you to make a choice between your child getting the services that he or she NEEDS through the developmental pre-school OR them watching him or her. The bus could have dropped him off at 11am, but they say that him arriving late would be too interrupting to their program, even though when I stopped in they did have 2 teachers in the classroom, so one could easily go out to the bus for a minute while the other continued with what the class was doing. Unless you need your kid to be there from open to close, then this isn't the program for your child because you would "interrupt" their program. I find it appalling that they are not willing to work with a child who has some slight delays, needing the morning program at the development pre-school to receive the morning services they need first. COMPLETELY INFLEXIBLE!! Naturally, no parent is going to stop the services that their child NEEDS through the developmental pre-school, so it seems to be a way for them to weed out having to provide care to kids with delays. HORRIBLE!!

Their putting little boys in dresses and calling it dress up they are not telling parents about this before hand
