First Baptist Church Of Woodbridge

The love and welcome here is incredible! The youth and children’s ministry is absolutely amazing. The senior pastor expertly preaches and teaches the Word of God. There are many opportunities to get spiritually fed here several times each week, from Sunday worship, midweek services and Bible classes, Sunday school, home Bible studies, and so on! Everything from the main service, to the facilities, to the activities, to the community outreach (“Go and Tell Ministry”) and the youth and children programs are all done professionally. The online material, blogs and creative content videos (check out their YouTube Channel) are amazing. Really useful content that will encourage you and the entire fam! This is the place to be, I highly recommend it to everyone.

It took me a few years to write this review. My son went to FBC early learning center. The first year when his teacher was a pastor wife - it was fine. Next year, Mrs. Verna started to literally harass my child - stuff like forcing him to carry a 8 pound back back (third if his weight), instead of using napkins to clean up his nose - swallow mucus (it’s gross!) and other things like that. One day they call me in the morning to pick up my son because he is uncontrollably crying. I came to pick him up, they said he refused to go to the playground. He was at Mrs. Verna office on the floor uncontrollably crying. At home he said that Mrs. Verna dragged him to his office and told him he is crazy. He had a couple bruises. We asked the pastor to investigate what happened as they have cameras but he refused. He said that Mrs. Verna never does anything wrong. Instead the next day when my husband took him to school - they de-enrolled him without letting us know. They asked off duty police officer to escort my 3 y.o. out of school. We involved CPS but of course they could not find anything. We moved to another school and in the past three years we never had a problem there. I have never seen my son crying non stop for an hour, not before and not after this incident. To this day I don’t know what happened there. I feel guilty I couldn’t protect my son. The thing I know - Baptist Church don’t care about you or your child. We met two more students/parents who went here and they had similar stories. And I question: why after so many years of existence there are no reviews good or bad for this school?

Welcoming and inviting! Pastor Josh has a great delivery and style that makes the message relatable and understandable. The welcome desk very friendly and inviting. I am so glad I found this church!

My husband and I have been attending this church for almost a year and have since become members as well. This church seemed way bigger than what we were used to, but it was so easy to get connected right away, and the people were so welcoming from the moment we approached the doors. There is a style of worship for everyone (traditional at earlier service, contemporary at later services), Pastor Josh’s sermons are Biblical, encouraging, and convicting, and there are so many Bible Fellowship Groups to choose from that cater to all walks of life. We are so grateful for our church family!

Very nice church ⛪️ l have been attending First Baptist church for almost two years 🙏 the church service is very good experience and the atmosphere as well fills right very good Bible teaching church.
