Faith Lutheran Preschool

Faith Lutheran Preschool has been such a gift to our family! When we were touring daycare centers over 7 years ago, we initially chose FLP because of how interactive the teachers were with the babies in the infant room. We stayed after experiencing the genuine care of the teachers and staff. Knowing that my kids were safe and well cared for made the transition back to work easier and less stressful. They LOVED their teachers and developed the sweetest friendships. I am so happy we joined the FLP community 7+ years ago.

We’ve had all 3 of our kids at Faith in the last 6 years. Alma the director has been around for a long time and she’s amazingly supportive. Even when we left (because we needed extended hours) and chose to come back (no other place compares) she welcomed us with open arms. Fatima is the best infant room teacher (although they are all great. she’s so incredibly thoughtful in the way she cares for the babies and the activities she leads. From water play, to themed months with planned lessons, they really put so much thought into the kids’ needs. This is not just a place you drop off your kids, bur another family you can’t wait for your kids to spend time with. We have built so many beautiful memories and the saddest thing about your kids growing up is having to leave their teachers.

I would walk into traffic for these teachers. The infant room was a blessing. The teachers really helped my wife and I transition back to work. My son just moved up to the toddler room and those teachers are magic. I have seen my son’s verbal skills improve. He sings songs he learned at school. He follows directions and socializes with children his own age. As an elementary school teacher I am very impressed with the staff.

We have been a part of the FLP family for almost 6 years, and a FAMILY is exactly what it feels like! The directors and teachers are INCREDIBLE. Many teachers have been there 5+ years, with a few over 10-15 years! Very low staff turnover, even through the COVID pandemic, proves that this is a wonderful place to be. The directors, Alma and Deana, work very hard to ensure our children are safe and have a great learning environment, through staff training and consistent high scoring with state licensing and Quality First. The small class sizes create a very personalized learning experience. The school does a great job hosting fun activities for the whole family. FLP staff members truly love our children, and my family loves the FLP staff! I will forever be grateful for our time at FLP and for the care my daughters have received— I already feel tearful over the thought of someday “aging out” of FLP! Thank you teachers and staff for all you do!

It’s clear that FLP isn’t just focused on meeting the bare minimum—they are wholeheartedly dedicated to helping each child flourish. We feel incredibly blessed to have found FLP, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the care our sons receive here. FLP has become more than just a preschool to us—it’s a community that genuinely cares for its families, and we feel so fortunate to be part of it.
