Explorations Child Enrichment Center

I have 2 kiddos there and I will be forever grateful for this place. My kids always come home happy and have learned so much. Many of the teachers and staff have become almost like family. The pricing is right in line with other centers but the value we receive there is unmatched.

Explorations was our second daycare. We switched upon the recommendation of a friend after a negative experience with our previous daycare. We have been there for over 3 years now and we just love it! Between both kids, we have been in every room at Explorations and we have nothing but positive things to say. My daughter has made great friends there and her teachers have been wonderful. They truly care about the kids and want to help them learn and grow. She just finished kindergarten, and her teacher at Explorations was a big part of her success despite having a lot of learning virtually. My son started in the infant room and will move to the preschool room this summer -- the same room where my daughter started over 3 years ago, and the same teachers are still there. I'm so excited for him to have his preschool experience at Explorations! If I ever have a question or concern, Alyssa (Assistant Director) is always quick to respond and very helpful. I feel confident bringing up anything and getting it answered quickly and thoroughly. In all, we love everything about Explorations, from the teachers and staff to the classrooms and the amazing outdoor playground. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a daycare in Centerville that will treat your kids like family.

Explorations is so much more than a daycare, it's a safe place for my child and so may people there feel more like family. My daughter has been going to Explorations for the last 6.5 years. We have been in every single classroom throughout the building now that she's in the school age room. The teachers there at every level truly love the kids, and work really hard on not only letting the kids have fun, but also teaching them, keeping them engaged though projects, field trips, and lesson plans they create each week. My daughter always has a great day, and especially loves the huge playground - mom loves that it's secure and shaded with all the trees. Linda (owner) and Alyssa (Assistant Director) are so flexible and easy to work with.

Much more than a daycare. The preschool 2-3 year old room teachers are always teaching reading and numbers through engaging projects. My daughter always has a great day. I also like how flexible and easy to work with Linda (owner) and Alyssa (Asst Director) are. Lastly, the playground is huge! I love that's it's behind the building in a secure location. My daughter loves playing in her "fort".

We've been sending our children to Explorations for almost 6 years, when our oldest was almost 3, and our girls have been attending since they were around 3 months old. There are few people I would trust more with my kids! The staff are patient, kind, and treat my kids like their own. At this point, many of the teachers are more like family. I read another negative review regarding the holding fee they charged so we could keep our place during the pandemic closure, and I just have to shake my head. They had overhead and staff to take care of, so I completely understand why they made that decision and had no issues paying to keep our spots in this school. It was 110% worth it! As far as the structure goes, I am always blown away by the activities and curricula the staff plan for the kids. My youngest was able to communicate via a few signs that she was taught in her classroom, which of course helped us avoid some tantrums! The summer is always my favorite season with them, bc they plan such fun activities for the kids! For example, today was the first of three art workshops they arranged throughout the summer, and they also are having a "build a bear" type event later too. As they are the only daycare we've used, I honestly can't speak to where they fall, affordability-wise, in comparison to other facilities. However, I personally find the rates to be incredibly fair, considering all they do there and the hours they hold. All in all, you couldn't ask for a better group of people!
