My daughter has attended Effica for the last 2 years and we are so happy we chose this school. She has really evolved both academically and socially. The teachers and Miss Asha have provided such a loving environment where you can feel the children are truly cared for. I have always appreciated the thoughtful and consistent communication from the school and that we are always welcome to observe, call, email, or make time to meet in person. Effica has really helped to bring out the best in my daughter and to begin her schooling years the way every child deserves---by nurturing her individuality!

Effica is a wonderful school! We sent all three of our children here, two who have graduated and one who is presently attending and we have nothing but positive things to say about the school and its teachers. Using the Montessori method along with an abundance of genuine love, kindness and patience, the teachers at Effica guided and supported my children in their daily "work". They were encouraged to grow in all areas and we were amazed at how much they grew academically as well as socially. My children enjoyed going to Effica, loved their teachers and had a desire to learn. It was a great preparation for elementary school for our two older children and made their transitions easy and smooth! We are so glad that we sent all our children here! It was a great start to their education!

The best decision my wife and I have made as parents is sending our kids to Effica. My daughter is in her third year at Effica, and my son is in his second year. They have learned so much from Miss Asha and her staff, but what impresses me the most is the self-confidence they have developed. Miss Asha has taken my kids under her wings as if they were her own and guided them through these formative years.

My two daughters graduated from Effica and they are in the 9th and 6th grade now. They made a lot of good friends from all around the world and I made a lot of good friends there as well. You can trust Miss Asha 100% as a teacher and as a person. Effica is a place where if you compare your child to a seed, they put the seed in rich soil and water it carefully and nurture it with fertilizer so that the seed will grow and it will become a beautiful flower some day.

I currently have two children attending Effica Montessori. Much of what I would say about Effica is already accurately described in the other reviews. Let me tell you what I think makes Effica unique and a standout program. The learning environment is calm, quiet and focused. I had never previously encountered this at a preschool. Students here happily take on responsibilities, engage in learning, and follow daily routines, giving them a sense of being a contributing "citizen" and security in their surroundings. The teachers are top-notch. They truly care about the success of the child across all areas- mutual respect between the teacher and child, developing age-appropriate social skills, and learning how to focus their attention on their work. The teachers at Effica are wonderful role models for the children, and the school maintains an excellent student to teacher ratio. As a result, these children receive a great deal of one-on-one attention from teachers; they work with each child at their individual level. No child is left behind; no child is bored. Students engage in both self-directed learning as well as learning to take guidance and instruction from teachers, which prepares them well for first grade. Miss Asha (lead teacher) takes time to get to know each child and parent on a personal level. She meets with parents to discuss your child's progress and to lay the groundwork for each child's future success not just academically, but as a whole person. Her 30+ years of teaching experience are invaluable to any parent who wants to establish a solid foundation for their children for years to come.
