Eastside Preschool

I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent experience with your daycare. While I appreciate that the staff was able to accommodate my son immediately when other local facilities had long waiting lists, I wanted to provide some honest reflections on our time there. On a positive note, I found the teachers to be very kind and attentive to the children, and the facility itself was consistently clean. However, I have some concerns regarding the environment and safety. The interior does not feel like a typical child-friendly space; the decor, such as the karate paintings rather than children's artwork, gives the impression of a business focused on profit rather than a nurturing daycare environment. I also felt that there were not enough activities to keep the children engaged. Most importantly, I was disappointed with how safety issues were handled. My son was hit by other one kids multiple occasions, and despite giving notice, no effective action was taken. For a monthly tuition of $1,700, I did not feel this was the best environment for my son's well-being. which i feel it was effective my son alot they are attending to daycare to be better and not getting hate to attending I do appreciate your understanding in providing a refund, which was a professional gesture. However, I believe there is significant work to be done to improve the professionalism and atmosphere of the facility.

We have experience with The Eastside Preschool for a little over two years and have had a wonderful experience. Our daughter has a severe food allergy and they have been great to work with to ensure she is safe with no exposures at daycare. We now have two children attending Eastside Preschool and both of our children enjoy daycare and often wish we would pick them up later to they can stay longer. The teachers communicate through the Brightwheel app so you get real time updates about your child throughout the day and curriculum and a snack menu is sent out ahead of time. The director, Jess Brusso, has been great to work with. One of our children had a hospital stay and Jess sent a care package to them- it was very thoughtful. We feel like family there!

Our oldest Daughter has been going to eastside since she was 15 months old (now 4yr). When our second daughter was born we ended up going to a different daycare few days a week until she was old enough to enroll in eastside. Let me tell you, we could not wait to get back to eastside. The communication, care and educational experience is top notch and so much better than any where else we have experienced. They really do go above and beyond. I never go a day without them touching in multiple times through out the day to let me know how things are going. A lot of the teachers have been there for many years and we have been very happy with each teacher we've had so far. Both of my girls love it there and go running in every morning so excited to get there.

We love Eastside! Since our son started in the preschool class here, we have noticed such a drastic difference in his confidence and his excitement about school. The staff members are awesome and the teachers are so caring and thorough. We get multiple pictures and updates throughout the day that are personalized to our son so we can feel like we’re part of his learning experience. And the curriculum is structured in a way that is fun and encourages curiosity, but imbeds real world applicability. Thank you, Eastside!

We absolutely love Eastside. We have two daughters (1 and 4) that attend here. We tried a couple of other day care facilities nearby and our girls often didn't want to go in the morning and couldn't wait for us to pick them up at the end of the day. At Eastside, they are actually excited to go in the morning and sometimes when we go to pick them up they aren't ready to leave. This makes our lives a whole lot easier. We really like that it is a Montessori school, as our girls seem to learn quite a lot during the day and are always bringing home new words or knowledge of some sort. However, the staff is what really makes this special. All of the teachers are very kind and communicative and we feel very comfortable leaving our kids with them all day. If you are on the fence I highly recommend checking this place out, we've really enjoyed having our kids attend here.
