What Parents Say
Eagle's Nest has received overwhelmingly positive reviews praising the current director Kayla Lowe, caring staff, family atmosphere, and developmental focus. However, one negative review from when a previous director (Lauriebeth) was in charge describes poor treatment of parents and dismissive behavior. The facility appears to have significantly improved under new leadership.
My son has been at Eagle’s Nest since he was 8 weeks old and he is now 2.5. He has thrived so much there! He is continuously learning and growing. The staff and teachers are wonderful! The curriculum is perfect. They provide home cooked meals and snacks and are very healthy. Kayla Lowe- the new director since we have been there has been nothing but amazing! If you communicate with them, they will communicate with you. Definitely a family atmosphere here at Eagle’s Nest!
Our son has been at Eagles Nest since he was 6 mos old (he’s now 3 1/2). Kayla is an excellent, compassionate, responsive director - the previous reviews pre-date her time there, and she’s really turned Eagles Nest around!! The teachers are incredible, and Eagles Nest feels like a family. Couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!
Can't recommend this thoughtful, loving environment more. Our <1yo son started with Eagles Nest mid-pandemic and we felt extremely safe with the precautions they took in the school, while still balancing a fun environment for the kiddos. Of note, our son flared up with severe eczema this spring and we felt so grateful for the easy communication with Eagles Nest regarding the specific care he needed. We drive all the way from Nederland for his care since there isn't <2.5yo care here... but it's worth it!! Thank you Eagles Nest for providing thoughtful, fun and well-managed care for our mountain community.
Eagle's Nest is a gem in this mountain community! Kayla is a reliable, well-versed, and knowledgeable director who genuinely cares about families she works with. All direct care staff has been friendly and kind to my son. I'm a seasoned childcare provider and now a Mom (so I've seen both sides) and I feel great bringing my son to Eagle's Nest!
I know my kids are safe and cared for when I drop them off. They do a great job teaching and incorporating activities. I interviewed many daycares down the mountain as well and chose this one because of the family feel. I’ve never regretted my choice. Although all childcare is expensive, this place is incredibly reasonably priced and I certainly feel my family receives more than I pay for.
