I take my 2 children to Dixie Kids. I am actually shocked at some of the reviews below. The Dixie Kids teachers are WONDERFUL! They love the children, they are fun and the children behave excellently for them! If there has ever been a messy desk there, it's because they are doing fun and amazing crafts and curriculum with the children and FUN is sometimes messy! I have had my children at both the St. George and the Hurricane centers and I find both to exceed my expectations. The Director and teachers are so friendly and helpful! I want to be a stay at home mom, but find it necessary to work. Leaving my precious children at Dixie Kids is the next best thing to being home with them myself. This is the only place I would consider leaving my kids! I cannot rate them highly enough. If in doubt, go in for a tour and have a look for yourself. Please don't let some extremely inaccurate negative reviews form your opinion of the best centers in town!

We love Dixie Kids. I have taken my kids to both centers for over 3 years. I started in St George and then we moved to Hurricane. It has been wonderful to know that I can take them to either center and the staff are wonderful at both places. I like how the playgrounds are catered to KIDS!!! Can't say enough good things for us!

I have had my kids at Dixie Kids and I can't express how much I appreciate the teachers and staff for making my children feel special. They are HAPPY to see them everyday and they make them feel loved. I love the playground and the activities they do! They are so excited when I come to pick them up because they have tons of stuff to show me that they did for the day. It makes me feel good that they aren't just sitting around, they are actually learning.

I would like to address the "rude staff" remarks. Dixie Kids is unique, because not only do they take care of the children like they were their own, they truly instruct the kids on the right ways to behave. Yes, if you walk in there at the wrong time you might hear children crying, or see some sitting in time out, because no child is perfect. Children hit, throw toys, disrespect teachers, or just have rough days. Would you want your child in a daycare that didn't address those issues? if you had the opportunity to be there all day, you would see those same children learn that throwing a fit is not the correct way to get what you want. You will hear children who have learned how to use manners,you will see those same kids hugging and laughing with the same teacher who sat them in a time out. The kids that go to Dixie kids are taught to be more well-behaved then most other preschools who let the children do whatever they like. Since when did discipline and high expectations equal being rude? If you want your child to grow and develop in a structured, yet fun environment, where they not only get to play, but they truly learn then Dixie Kids is the PERFECT place for you.

As a mother is with their first baby I meticulously reviewed and researched every daycare in the area, I found Dixie Kids to be nothing short of a dream; the security and safety of my son is well above all other daycares, the staff is consistent and professional (My son's second word next to mom was Reene for Miss Maureen), and the facility is extremely clean. Barbra Fox and Miss Kimberly do an impeccable job at maintaining excellence above the norm. My son began daycare here at 3 months and is now over 2 years old and I have received so many compliments of his development, education and progression to which I have to accredit Dixie Kids.
