A Child'S World

Worst experience ever do not recommend this place and what a shame that I’m not the only one that has had problems with this place it’s insane how it’s still in business. Had to stop taking my child there due to her telling me she was being mistreated by the OWNERS SON was never told he was the one taking care of her in fact you are never told anything! If you ask for any information they get upset and give you attitude so unprofessional don’t know why work with children if you’re not patient. All the wrong people are there, they are never at the front desk when you pick up your child anybody can just walk in so unsafe. Worst daycare in town I gurantee !

My 3 little ones have been going here since September 2023, and they've been taken care of very well. They've potty trained, my oldest and middle child. They have separate classes for different age groups, which helps my kids socialize and interact with their peers. My kids had bad experiences with other daycares, but "A Child's World" has done amazing in making my kids feel safe. My 1 year old son, who usually hates everyone, has teachers and staff who have helped him become more social. I can go on, but overall, I only have good things to say about this daycare.

I made the best decision for my child when I left after two years at A Child’s World. While the teachers there are good and have always taken care of my child, for which I am grateful, I realized upon leaving that I was only receiving the bare minimum of care. First off, dealing with the front desk, especially Ms. Heidi, was terrible. She consistently gave me attitude, and when I had questions, she made me feel like a burden. Whenever I called to check in on my child, which was the only form of contact available since there’s no other way to reach them, the information I was given would never match what I was told when I picked him up. This happened for over a year. Additionally, I found it strange and concerning that they wouldn't allow me to go down and pick up my child. Instead, they insisted on bringing him to me. On top of that, I was never informed about who was watching my child during the day. I initially thought there was one main person responsible, but it turned out there were three other people, none of whom I knew. There’s much more, but ultimately, your children deserve the best care, and I don't believe this place provides that.

My son had not adjusted well to a different daycare in town, but A Child's World has been a serious blessing. He is so happy there. I love walking in and smelling the yummy food they serve. He is always completing creative projects I get to take home. He looks forward to going there every morning. We love this place.

Do you love your child? DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. I never leave reviews but I am willing to do so to prevent other children and parents from going through what we went through. The owner of A Child’s World, is by far the most unprofessional, disrespectful, lying, and inappropriate person I have ever encountered. She lied to us from day one and tried covering her tracks every time we would bring up an issue. She yelled at us (in front of our children) with no regard for the repercussions of her actions. She has anger management issues and whenever she is approached about an issue she will immediately turn it around on to you. As if that wasn’t bad enough, she breaks the law on a daily basis by not allowing parents back into the classrooms to pick up or drop off their children. I don’t know what they’re hiding and why they are breaking the law in this way but it scares me beyond belief. We are currently amidst filing a licensing complaint with the state of Utah in order to ensure that no other child or parent ever has to deal with this “woman” ever again.
