Discovery Point 41

This facility and its staff are amazing! I am a children's book author and I was invited to give a show there. It was a blast! The children were VERY happy and well-behaved, a testament to how well they are cared for and how much they enjoy being there! It's a BIG building with lots of space for the kids to run and play. If you're looking for a great center for your child, this is one I would highly recommend.

I wish I could write a review for the teachers separately but here goes. My daughter just graduated from this school three days ago. First off I will say Ms. Kristin and Ms. Melissa are the best things about the school. They are kind and helpful. But the owner of the school Sarah treated me so horribly the first day of pre-k and it has stuck with me all year. The school has this huge orientation on what to expect. They definitely hype up things. They also said they would help the kids buckle for the first half of the year. Imagine getting an attitude from the school owner Sarah because she put my child in the car and DID NOT buckle her. When I asked her to she appeared annoyed at me and told me the other kids were doing it themselves. I brought up her orientation and how they said they would help the kids and she dismissed me. I called the school for clarification and they said sorry and yes they would help her. From that day one Sarah would avoid me in the carline and send someone else to get my child out. It wasn’t until graduation that I learned she was the owner! I am not sure why she chose to treat me like that but I can guess. Also four teachers ended up leaving in September so that tells you a lot. My child had to get a new teacher after bonding with her teacher. I would still recommend them just be wary the school spends more time on picture days than anything else.

My daughter has been with Discovery Point - Lexington Oaks since she was an infant and will be seven years old soon. Watching my daughter grow into a first grader with these amazing educators has been a special experience. They care for her in a genuine way and I can see how her success in first grade is related to the influence of the Discovery Point team. When things don't go as you expect, the team communicated openly and quickly. For whatever reason, the school pictures they take are the best ones of my kiddo. I recommend this place without hesitation.

My daughter attends Discovery Point Lexington Oaks and I couldn’t imagine sending her anywhere else. The front desk staff are present and attentive to any needs or concerns that I might have. The daycare is always clean. The app the classrooms use is such a great tool at helping me feel connected and up to date with what my daughter is doing throughout the day. My daughters teacher is wonderful, she truly enjoys coming to school and as a parent that is the most important thing I could ask for.

When we moved to the area looking for a daycare that made this momma feel at ease while at work was a challenge. But the minute we walked into Discovery Point Lexington Oaks we knew it was the perfect fit. My girls have been here for the past 3.5yrs and my oldest is in their VPK wrap program. The teachers communicate well with the parents and love our babies almost as much as we do. The curriculum has beyond exceeded my expectations. Both my girls are overly prepared for K. I am grateful for all that DP does and happy to be part of their family!
