Mrs Kimi and her staff are absolutely awesome! We just moved here about 7 months ago and very worried about finding a school that had that perfect balance of teaching our daughter while also a place where she is happy and we felt safe. They have completely “Exceeded” our expectations! My daughter in a matter of two weeks I noticed a huge change in her vocabulary and every day since she can’t wait to go to school., they have so many activities for your child such as “tap tap” a art class that comes in once a month.. and today they are having a water day.. and the list goes on..the school has a curriculum so they are actually learning every day.. Mrs. Kimi is very organized and thorough and the best part is she is the same happy person every day! I love the staff and how much they show so much attention to each child. I usually don’t write reviews and I just wanted to wait before I write a review and you be very pleased if you choose to have your child attend this school.. keep up the great work!! Both of my toddlers attend DLC, in such short time their language skills have expanded so much. The staff is amazing, from the first day they have always been very welcoming. Very private, small preschool. Highly recommend!
I have been searching a couple months ago (I even lost track of time), for a daycare. I remember how exhausting it was and I nearly gave up because they all was just not right and had so much problems red flags I should say. I asked God to please help me cause i couldn’t settle for any of the ones I had seen. Just as I was about to go home my church sister text me the address and name of this daycare, Discovery Learning Center. I looked at the address and am like this is so far away but God said why don’t you take a look. If anyone knows me am a woman of God and if he said it then that’s exactly what am working with. Anyway I called first and Miss Kimmie told me that I can come and see, immediately I went. When I arrived I went to the door and it was closed and I was now excited cause yes that means no one can’t just walk up to the door and open it, I had to call and then she let me in. When she opened the door I was so surprised it didn’t have the foul smell I had experienced at the other ones it was smelling so awesome and it was so quiet I thought the kids were gone. God said this is your daughter’s school, I started smiling, what took me by surprise the kids were playing they were happy but they were just not noisy I nearly cried because I only have one daughter and I told God if he found me a daycare I would let her go but if not she staying with me. Today my daughter is singing, eating on her own she was 1 years old when she started she is now 2 and she runs to go inside she is not screaming crying. She even has a favorite teacher and learning is fun for her. She loves books now she points at the pictures and dance. One last thing they go to the chapel and my daughter sings those songs at home. God is amazing I just wanna say thank you to this school cause it’s not a daycare. So if you’re looking don’t mind the distance cause I live in Fort Hood lol this is the school for your babies ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💯
My daughter has been going to DLC since she was 2 years old and will now be graduating this year as a 5 year old. DLC has been great for us and has given my daughter a great education and head start heading into kindergarten. I highly recommend.
My daughter has been going to Discovery Learning Center for a year now and we are so pleased with the care she receives. The teachers are absolutely wonderful with the children and always have a warm smile to welcome the children in the mornings. My daughter has learned so much in the time she has been attending DLC and her social skills have improved drastically since she started going there. The director is very involved in the daily routines and makes sure everything runs as it should. It is clean, safe, kid-friendly, and most of all, fun. I recommend this place if you are looking for a place that is not over crowded and your child will feel like he/she is at home. As a teacher, I can think of no better environment to help her develop her cognitive abilities.
