We have been with Discovery since 2020 and have loved every year we have been here. As a parent you are very fearful to leave your baby and want to ensure they will be taken care of and loved in your absence and Discovery takes that fear and replaces it with assurance and abundance of love and kindness. Our child has grown up surrounded by teachers who love them and friends who can't wait to play together. Summer is always something we look forward to as they have so many activities and fun things planned it is always a fun time. Looking for a great center look no further, I have recommended Discovery for years and will continue to recommend them.
We loved Discovery Children’s! My son attended for 2 years and loved all of his teachers. You could tell Ms Lydia and Ms Rachel really cared for him when he was in their classes. Both always had a big smile when he walked in the door—he would ask to give them hugs before he left for the day. As he got older we could really see the change and how much he was learning. When we first started it was under a different director that we were not happy with—when Renae took over the day to day we saw a huge positive impact on the facility and growth of staff. Discovery has been such a positive influence on my 5 year old son. The teachers are very kind to the kids, the Director is always working if you have any questions. It’s safe and a very loving place! My son started there when he was just a baby and we loved it. I cried when we had to leave due to location. We came back for the summer and they all Welcomed us like we never left! Definitely a great place to trust watching your kids.
Honestly didn’t know they could get any better, but they sure did! They are always keeping it so clean and smelling good, so many fun toys and activities in the classrooms, always keeping my son’s daily activities updated so I can check on him, and the owner, Mrs. Renay, is always proactive about anything and everything. 100 stars if I could’ve! Love the teachers, love the ladies at the front, and love the amazing path Discovery keeps moving up on.
We absolutely love Discovery Children's Academy! From the moment we walked in, we felt a genuine sense of care, warmth, and professionalism. The staff is incredibly nurturing, patient, and attentive! All 3 of our boys grew so much socially and emotionally when they attended here. We were excited to take all of our boys every morning and we loved hearing and seeing (because they send pictures) about all the fun activities and things they were learning. The communication from the teachers is excellent, and I always feel informed and included in their day-to-day experiences. As a parent, there's nothing more comforting than knowing your child is in safe, loving, and capable hands. We couldn't be happier with our choice at Discovery Children's Academy. The owner, Renay McAfee, has truly gone above and beyond creating an environment that was a blessing for our family!
