I absolutely love this daycare! Both of my younger kids attend, and I’ve had such a wonderful experience from day one. The staff is caring, attentive, and truly dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing environment. My children are excited to go each day, and I’ve noticed so much growth in their learning, social skills, and confidence. The communication with parents is excellent, and I always feel informed and involved. It’s such a relief knowing my kids are in good hands and genuinely happy throughout the day. I can’t thank the team enough for the love and care they show my little ones. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a high-quality, supportive daycare!
My daughter has been coming here for a year and absolutely loves it. All the teachers are so nice! Even the teachers in other classes know my daughter’s name and greet her (and us) with excitement when we walk through the door. You can tell everyone truly cares about all the kids, regardless of if they’re assigned to their class or not.
Skipwith Academy at Woodlake is a wonderful preschool! Our children have attended Skipwith for almost 3 years and have been through all classrooms and programs. We have been pleased with the caring staff and wonderful academic programs in each program. Our children loving going there each day, and are never ready to leave! We feel assured that our children are being well taken care of and are learning lots each and every day! We love the extracurricular activities that Skipwith provides on a routine basis! They definitely go above and beyond to involved students as well as parents in the school! The only thing that concerns us from time to time about Skipwith is the turnover rate of teachers. But we always address our concerns with management and corporate and new wonderful teachers are hired. I do not think the turnover rate for this preschool is any higher than other preschools in the area. We highly recommend Skipwith Academy if you are looking for strong, age-appropriate academic education by caring, supportive staff!
They have been wonderful and so accommodating with my autistic son. The director Lori is an absolute angel always bending backwards to make sure my baby is taken care of. I cannot thank the entire staff enough for all they do!
Skipwith Woodlake is our second Skipwith —after having to change due to a move/distance. Both experiences have been great. We have both a pre-k child and infant at Skipwith Woodlake and the care and dedication from each and every teacher is spectacular. We have watched our older child learn so much over the past year, I have no concerns about her preparedness for kindergarten. Everyone is kind, considerate and helpful each and every day.
