Desert Dawn Private School

We have been attending Desert Dawn for the past 2.5 years and have had a wonderful experience. We attended several other daycares prior to finding Desert Dawn and only wish we had found them sooner. I am always amazed at what my daughter comes home learning-it’s the perfect balance between play and academics. The teachers and staff show so much love and affection to the kids and truly enjoy what they do. I know my child is safe and in good hands when I drop her off. The school offers monthly enrichment programs that my child always looks forward to. They also have occasional parties through the year that give parents opportunity to meet other families and form a sense of community outside of school (meeting up for play dates, etc). I highly recommend Desert Dawn!

Desert Dawn is amazing! Both of our kids have attended and I simply cannot explain how much our family loves it. The teachers and staff are so nurturing, attentive, you can tell they all genuinely love what they do. The classrooms are bright and fun, with plenty of learning activities and areas for kids to play. Communication with parents is excellent, and our child always comes home excited to share what they’ve learned. A truly warm, supportive, and joyful environment—highly recommended!

We are so grateful to have found Desert Dawn! Our children (ages 4 and 2) absolutely love it. The caring staff, large outdoor playground with goats and a garden, and all the fun special activities give them so much to look forward to. Communication is excellent, we receive regular photos and updates through a convenient app, and staff respond quickly to messages. The Pre-K team does a fantastic job preparing children for kindergarten. We’ve noticed a huge improvement in our son’s behavior and academic skills. We appreciate how the staff collaborates with his outside support team to maintain consistency across programs. There’s truly no better feeling than dropping off your children knowing they’re in such good hands.

I’m so happy I found Desert Dawn!! I visited numerous daycares and preschools in the area and Desert Dawn is such a special place I knew it was the perfect fit. It’s a small, preschool with staff that have spent their whole careers there. No crazy turn over like the big box childcare centers. The directors and staff take care of my son like he is family. Communication is always there and they work so hard to help every child be successful, whether it’s with potty training or social skills. They also plan fun activities every month that make school such an exciting place! From Halloween parties, to water days, to pony rides, they do it all!! We feel truly fortunate to have found Desert Dawn Private School for our son. He started there at just 18 months old, and it has been the perfect environment for him to begin his preschool journey. At such a tender age, when his mind and personality are still forming, it gives me so much comfort knowing he’s in such loving and capable hands. The teachers and directors genuinely care for the children — it truly feels like a safe home away from home. They are warm, attentive, and always responsive to any questions or requests I have. I feel completely at ease when my son is at school because I know he’s not only well cared for but also nurtured and encouraged to grow.
