The facility is nice with a good variety of equipment, however, if you plan on working out on weeknights before 8pm, you need to plan on sharing the space with about 20-30 shrieking teenage volleyball players that don't understand gym etiquette. They leave there stuff tossed all over the floor and don't know how to treat it as a shared public space.There coaches also yell orders so it's very distracting and hard to stay in the zone if you are anywhere except tucked into the free weight section. I enjoy working out on the weekends when this can be avoided but otherwise it's very frustrating to not be able to workout in peace
What a ripoff. The front desk and management here is incompetent. The monthly dues are way over priced. This is supposed to be a Christian, non profit. This far from the truth. Any customer support issue is a 800 number. ..I was over billed after cancelling...Yelled at by Rico the GM in Deland ....What a sham.
Julian was so kind and helpful in assisting me with my membership and scan in card. He says hello and greets everybody who enters and leaves as well.
I enjoy working out there. The equipment is nice with a good variety. I look forward to trying out a few group classes and doing some laps in the pool next time I get a chance.
Lifeguards are very childish, I said Merry Christmas to my surprise no replied at all, no mention of the new pool schedule on December 24 th, I recommend a bigger sig on front door for the holiday new pool schedule.
