I don’t know if it’s the same owner or not since they have the owner now listed as a company out of Waxhaw with an LLC. But when my daughter was there, they refused to put sunscreen (that I provided with proper permission form, that they didn’t keep on file) on her. So she would either get BURNT or they would make her stay inside while the rest of the class was outside. She was burnt TWICE despite only being outside less than an hour. Then they tried to lie to me and say they did put sunscreen on her. Clearly they did not. Not only was she burnt, but she did not smell like sunscreen either. Also, they would not tell me about field trips either. The assistant director even agreed with me. They had cameras. But they were only used to protect the staff, not the children.
Cyrus childhood is one of the best daycares . My kids have been attending this daycare for years . Cyrus have taught all my kids everything they know I love the way the teachers treats my kids like their own , ms.mason was the best sadly she left , now ms.princess here I love the bond my kids have with her as well my kids comes home everyday with a good story about how they’re being treated at daycare
I have been with Cyrus for a short period of time and I have really seen a difference in my children. They get excited about coming to Cyrus and their attitude about school has changed tremendously. The staff there is far to none. They accept my children with love. My children love the staff. The things that they are teaching the children are amazing. They are so awesome. My hat goes off to Cyrus Childhood Academy. They are going to do great things with these children and the community.
I met the owner when she first opened, she has a beautiful and kind spirit and loving heart. She made Cyrus Childhood Academy a wonderful place for kids. We live in the Steele Creek area and fight the traffic every day to bring my 4 and 2 year old here. My son was 1 of the first 5 children here. Ms. Mason the Director is perfect and has hired staff that will take care of your children with Love and Patience. Come and see for yourself and be impressed too!!
I absolutely love Cyrus ! I’ve been a parent with students at Cyrus since they became Cyrus Academy. This is a loving family oriented center it’s not just about the paycheck to these individuals they actually love these children as their own. I have seen this center gain multiple great programs for the kids and Cyrus Childhood Academy is continuing to grow. I highly recommend Cyrus Childhood Academy to any parent looking for a true home away from home for their child(ren) they would be in great hands.
