Great community college with many different programs. The Aqua Terra Grill restaurant (culinary arts' restaurant) is a local favorite, attracting many lunchtime diners from the neighborhood, besides the students. The photos are showing the 2024 Food and Wine Festival which is also very popular.
Good atmosphere in the School of higher learning, Friendly staff and class-mates, plus an extensive list of possible careers studys to choose from. Thinking of a life changer well check out Contra Costa College and see what life here can offer you. Thanks for the consideration. P.S. they have there own security Police force, for the safety featured allotance of the mind just like the City, but let's face it this is where the City Security Force work to possibly get some action. Man easy money ya think 🤔
It's a great college, this is my first semester in CCC, I'm studying the ESL and I've felt so much better in my English.Thank you Contra Costa College and thank you professors.
I visited this campus twice recently and was really impressed with the faculty, administration, and sense of community I felt and experienced at this college! I attended an amazing poetry reading in the college library and met professors, a dean, students, administrators, and the college president. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. I could tell that they all really care about education and helping students! The campus is also really pretty with a lot of green spaces and places to meander as well as contemplate deeply. Such a happy place dedicated to higher learning!!
Contra Costa College is one of those rare institutions that actually lives up to what education should be about: opportunity, integrity, and growth. It doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not—it simply delivers. Whether you're starting your academic journey, changing careers, or pushing for something bigger, CCC gives you a strong foundation. Faculty care, resources are targeted, and there’s a culture that rewards real effort and real intelligence—not just appearances. Compare that to UC Davis, which has increasingly become a performative institution built on image rather than impact. While it talks a big game—about innovation, diversity, excellence—the lived experience for many students doesn’t reflect that. It’s a system that favors those who fit the mold and discourages those who challenge it. Critical thinkers are often boxed in, while surface-level performance is applauded. The learning environment can feel hollow—more focused on prestige than progress. At Contra Costa College, bright minds are encouraged, not filtered out. There’s no need to posture or play political games—you just learn, grow, and move forward. UC Davis, by contrast, can feel like a place where keeping up appearances matters more than actual achievement. If you value authenticity, affordability, and real support—CCC is a far wiser investment.
