Every kid has its behavior problems. My son was there for more than a month less than two. Last week I got a call, saying my two year son wasn’t listening and once I got there, the teacher explained to me that it’s monkey C monkey do not indicating my son was the one starting as the director tried to explain to me today. today I picked up my son and was told that me and the director would have a conversation on Monday. I come home not even an hour later. I get an email stating my son was disenrolled without me and the Director having a one-on-one conversation which I find very unprofessional. Honestly, I understand kids have Listening problems, but if it was such a safety concern, why did my son come home with marks and when I went to the school about it the teacher stated that she doesn’t recall my son having those marks. I loved the school at first but it slowly became clear that if a student has any behavior issues they don’t know how to handle it so they just kick them out.

horrible horrible daycare. one lady just sits on her butt, never gets up to greet you, never speaks, very unfriendly. The door is always open, anyone can just walk into the center. Does not seem safe for a child care. Not a good feeling when dropping off your grandchild. Daycares should feel welcoming like a place that you feel safe and comfortable dropping your child off, definitely NOT this place. This was really a last resort, and we are so happy to be leaving to a more KID FRIENDLY place. Deserves ZERO stars!

We love Colonial Day School. My 2 yr old started there a little over a month ago. Not only do we love Mrs Emily and Mrs Anne, but his teachers are fantastic and understanding of each parents concerns and each childs needs. They are loving and nurturing and we can see the results at home - my sons vocabulary has exploded!

I have enjoyed my daughter going here. I was nervous at first because she had been at the same daycare since she was 6months. The curriculum is great and I can see that my daughter is actually learning something instead of them just having her play games. Ms. Monique is very patient and tells you if there are any issues so that as a team you can come together and make sure your child is on track. I love that Ms. Ann knows the children by their names. I really feel my child is doing well here and I am glad I picked this place. I would recommend Colonial Day School to any parent.

My daughter went here for a year and in that short time the entire staff became life family. This was the first daycare she’s ever been to and I was terrified to drop her off at first but within the first two weeks she was always asking me to go back to school to see her miss Monique and her miss Mary. I watched her communicate grow with me and with all her new friends at school. She was excited to bring me all the crafts they worked on and sing me the new songs they learned. I’m so thankful for every single one of the teachers there for putting so much care and love into these kids and providing a safe space for them to learn. I wish I could pick you all up and bring you to our new town with us. So thank you Colonial Day School, there aren’t words to describe the amount of gratitude I have for you. to new parents looking for a safe place for your kids they will be filled with an abundance of love and knowledge here!
