Nice place for long walks along the lake, picnics, and bird watching.

Unprofessional and inexcusable attitudes from the staff. We were having a birthday party for our 80 year old dad. The staff came in at 810pm and just starts putting tables and chairs away while people are sitting and eating. I pleaded with the staff several times to hold off until 830pm so we could close down the party. I told them I would get 15 people to help get everything cleared before 9pm. They refused to hear me and continued pushing people off the chairs and tables. One of the staff members gets in a yelling match with a guest which causes confusion and fear amongst some of the SENIOR CITIZENS at the party. There was no clear communication and quite frankly any compassion. All we asked for was 20 minutes to help shuffle everyone out. As, we had elderly guests. The staff would not bother to hearing us out. We got everything cleared out by 845PM anyways. This was supposed be a night of celebration, a reunion of families who have not been in the same room since the pandemic. It was truly devastating end to a night that took an enormous amount of planning and money. I hope those staff members take a good look at themselves and learn some compassion. I would hope better guidelines and systems are put into place to prevent this from happening in the future. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you have children or elderly.

We booked this place for my grandfathers 80th birthday. Horrible experience with the staff. We were kicked out 1 hour prior to our arrangement. My family explained this, however the staff kept pushing despite us explaining and saying that we would be able to pack up before the time and they had gotten quite heated and started packing up the tables (that they did not assist with placing out originally) and chairs (that they also didn’t assist with). Along with the fact that the staff had even helped themselves to a plate of our food, this is the way they treated us. Overall the staff was extremely unprofessional, used vulgar language, and were extremely rude. I would also like to add that we discovered mice droppings in one of the cabinets and the floor has not appeared to have been properly cleaned and was stained. I wouldn’t recommend this place for parties and don’t even bother booking an extra hour since they’re obviously more concerned with getting you out of there. I hope this place hires better staff in the future, but I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. 0 stars.

If I could leave ZERO stars I would the staff came 30 minutes early and packed up tables and chairs that they didn’t even bother to help setup. When informed of the time we had left they said they “didn’t care” and even used vulgar language, the staff even came to take a plate of our own food how rude is that?! I will never recommend this place to anyone simply because of the unprofessionalism, rudeness, and unfriendly staff. terrible service period

Great place for many local activities and groups. We so appreciate the staff and facilities!
