What Parents Say
Christ Lutheran Child Care receives mostly positive reviews praising staff quality, communication, curriculum, and child safety. However, a few negative reviews raise concerns about conflict resolution with behavioral issues and refund policies.
We absolutely love ALCC! I was so nervous about having my son in daycare while I work, but he is always happy to be there and I truly feel he's both safe and learning a lot every day. Their communication is wonderful. They share pictures with you so you can see how your kid's day is going and whenever something comes up they always let you know quickly, kindly, and professionally. The teachers know how to work with kids and are excited to help them grow. They serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks and my son loves eating their food (and I love that it's balanced). I can not say enough good things about ALCC!
My daughter has attended since she turned one and is now two and a half. She loves going there every day! As another reviewer said, it is not just a day care, it is a full school experience with a full curriculum. ALCC has extremely caring faculty and a fun and safe environment. We shopped around a lot before deciding on a day care and are incredibly happy with ALCC. My daughter constantly brings home new skills and shares her experiences. All the staff give consistent, honest feedback, and help my daughter attain new levels; they also give us advice for things we can work on at home with her. They post pictures on private-social media so I can check on her during the day and personally call me if anything worrisome occurs while she is there.
I have a good friend who's daughter goes to the daycare center there. I find it hard to believe that they want the mom to move her daughter out of this daycare because of another child who constantly bites her. I don't understand how they are willing to keep the biting kid there but get rid of the kid who is being bit. I'm sorry but what kind of daycare does that? The management needs to think "what if it was my kid, what would I want to happen?". So before you sign your child up think about it....if your kid keeps getting bit or hit YOUR kid will have to find a new daycare.
January of 2022, I paid almost 800 for a waitlist to the infant room for September of 2022. March of 2022 due to loss of employment and unexpected health concerns , I called the director for a refund, she stated that this money would not be refunded, I also called the owner of the daycare, the paperwork clearly states that a 100 deposit is unrefundable, at NO time during the discussion did she say the 800 would be unrefundable. The paperwork is very vague. I am very hurt and disappointed that this daycare would not refund at least part of my money, very cold and no empathy towards my situation. I am shocked that a Christian organization would treat me this way. I don't want this situation to happen to anyone else. Very sad
Love how well they take care of our kids, they are great to communicate with.
