What Parents Say

The facility is described as well-run with engaging activities and excellent communication with families.
The teachers are phenomenal! My son has been attending since September and he's developed significantly. He was already very intelligent but struggled with social interaction. He actually enjoys going, which leads to the challenge. There's never been sufficient staffing and you never know if you'll have daycare. It's truly a day by day service, which is concerning because parents pay tuition and are then told their child can't come because of staffing. I wish it was a rare occurrence, but it's not. It's a normal weekly issue which is overwhelming for parents. It's truly heartbreaking to witness parents being turned away at the door or to receive notice that classes are limited. I've never experienced a center Director who refuses to staff appropriately, refuses to allow the teachers to communicate with parents and wants everything done through her, and doesn't allow the teachers to communicate through the app. The teachers look overwhelmed, but I'm grateful it doesn't impact their love for the children. I absolutely love the Two's teachers; however my son is three and the Director refuses to move him to the three's class. I'm also concerned that the cameras in the class are just for show. It's very misleading, but again I love the teachers so I'm not super concerned. Overall this place has the potential to be phenomenal. If it wasn't for the Dictator that's running the center, giving the perception to the higher ups that she's effective so she could get bonuses, intentionally short staffed, overworking the teachers, and causing all the good staff to leave. Numerous complaints have been filed with corporate but they refuse to address the root cause. The reviews are very misleading and I question the authenticity because I'm there everyday and I've never seen a parent look happy. We're all stressed with center operations. Again, it's not the teachers. The teachers are wonderful! For the sake of the center please resolve the toxicity because if not the center will not be able to remain open. It's already short staffed and more teachers are leaving.
My little one has attended this childcare network on 9th street from 6months old to 1 year old. The staff are really attentive and informative about his development. I am always excited to see that he is happy, eating well, and playing great when I come to pick him up. The staff is amazing and welcomes with a smile. The director, April, is very friendly and easy to work with as well. I feel I can go to her with any issue. I trust the staff here with my child and it makes me happy to see him excited to go to this day care center.
I am writing to provide an update on the review I submitted three weeks ago because I aim to be fair. Unfortunately, it appears that the company’s responses to reviews are intended more to project an image of concern and involvement rather than result in meaningful action to address the ongoing challenges this daycare faces. Despite following up as requested—both by calling the provided contact number and sending an email—I have yet to receive any acknowledgment or response. This lack of communication is deeply disappointing, especially considering that the situation at the daycare has continued to worsen. Several additional teachers have left, and others have confirmed their intention to depart, leading to chronic understaffing. This has resulted in parents frequently receiving notifications about the unavailability of space—often after leaving their homes to drop off their children. These messages typically arrive after parents have already made arrangements based on written agreements and tuition payments. This not only disrupts daily routines but is especially distressing for children who are left feeling disappointed and confused. If you are seeking reliable, consistent daycare and expect to receive the quality of service you are paying for, I strongly encourage you to thoroughly research this location before making a decision. The experience we have had has been extremely frustrating based upon center conduct, and I would be happy to share any documentation to help other families avoid the same unfortunate situation. The director April is amazing! She listens to you and makes sure the teachers listen to you and your needs for your children. My kids love their teachers and all the friends they made! They have so much fun going everyday and have learned and grown so much! I am so thankful I found a daycare that they enjoy!
The staff at Childcare Network is truly amazing. The little one has been going here for almost 5 years and they have bent over backwards to show caring and compassion on all situations that have arised with the little one. The personal care that they have shown and assisting in the development of the little one shows the amount of care that the staff gives. I wish we could keep using their services. All the staff, especially the NC PreK staff, so amazing, y'all are true diamonds in the ruff. Thank you again for being a huge part and help in the raising our little one.
