Building Blocks Learning Cente

Building Blocks has been a wonderful experience for us. We switched our 4YO (at the time) at the beginning of 2025 from a previous place preschool/daycare. The smaller class size has made a world of difference and the attention and care all of the teachers provide the students is amazing. I love the structure of morning journals and math in the afternoon and activities are made fun. My daughter talks about number blocks quite often. I also really appreciate the extra care on the one-off mornings where she needs some extra hugs. All of the teachers will scoop her up and make the transition of mom leaving seamless, and she loves their hugs just as much as mine.

We are beyond impressed with our experience with Building Blocks. Our child simply loves going to school. Its hours are beyond accommodating (FULL DAY), the number of closed or holiday closures are limited. Like you can actually count on them being open! The small classroom setting and child to teacher ratio is amazing. The teachers rotate on a schedule and have a male teacher in the mix, which is rare to find. Clean, forever evolving into new books, new studies and the kids have structure while still the ability to be kids. Our son has an IFSP which an outside speech team does online and in person work with, and the team of Building Blocks has been nothing but supportive with this. The one on one attention for the kids is amazing, and we are grateful to be part of this small school community. We highly recommend this school!!

We absolutely love Building Blocks Preschool. The peace of mind we have here compared to our previous daycare is night and day. The small class sizes allow for so much more one-on-one attention, and it truly shows in how supported and cared for our children are. One of the biggest things for us is consistency—the same teachers have been here since we started, which has made a huge difference. We feel completely comfortable and confident leaving our kids here every day.

Building Blocks Learning Center is truly an amazing place for children to learn and grow. The teachers are absolutely wonderful-caring, patient, and genuinely invested in each child’s development. They create a warm, nurturing environment while also providing engaging and educational activities that help children thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. Miss Kristin’s communication with families is excellent, and it’s clear how much love and dedication she puts into her school.

Building Blocks has become like a second home for our children. My oldest is now a couple of years into primary school & has excelled in math & reading due to all of the early attention given to the subjects here while still being given plenty of play time for them to blow off steam. He still wants to come in when I pick up his younger brother to give Miss Kristin big hugs. My younger also absolutely adores everyone at the school and has learned so much in their attentive care. We had to deal with constant illness and the boys being covered in filth due to lack of cleanliness of prior providers. We so appreciate coming into Building Blocks & seeing it actively being cleaned most mornings, and the first thing the children are taught to do is to wash hands and how germs are spread, as it has drastically reduced how often we've had sick kids at home.
