Bright Horizons Children'S Ctr'S At Shepherd'S Vi

My son was at two different daycares in the span of a year before coming to BHA. Both centers just didn't provide the empathy and support he needed to be heard and feel seen. After touring the BHA facility and meeting some of the staff, I had a feeling this would be home for us. His teachers have not only been so kind and supportive, but have helped him grow personally and academically. The center leadership and support staff are incredible people and create the healthiest learning environments for the classrooms. My son is thriving and is growing up to be such a well-rounded young man. I attribute so much of his growth to the incredible care he receives at this school. After having my second child, it was a no-brainer that he would join his brother at the second home we've built. They say "it takes a village," and BHA absolutely embodies that mentality.

My grandchildren are at the Bright Horizons in Apex. We love it. They just got brand new furniture and classroom equipment. The kids are loving it there, learning a lot and they love their teachers and friends. The staff have been very helpful and supportive. Recommended!

My son has been at Bright Horizons for since age 3 and I have only complimentary things to say about the school. The facility itself has a really cozy feel to it. The playgrounds are shaded by large trees, the walls are covered with photos of the kids or artwork they've made, and there's a lovely courtyard entrance that makes it feel like you're walking into a home when you arrive. However, it's really the staff that makes the biggest difference. The administration really goes the extra mile to bring the school to life. They've schedule special events for Father's Day and Mother's Day, parties for various holidays, and contests like a scavenger hunt week where every day a stuffed animal is hidden in a different place and the kids have to find it. The teachers are extremely dedicated and patient with the children. The classrooms are bright and divided into different play centers for the kids: a section for costumes, a section for building with blocks and the like, a cozy corner for reading or taking a break, etc. Every week the curriculum is posted and there's a phone app where they post daily photos of what the children is doing. For younger kids, the app also shows feedings and diaper changes so you know how things are going. It's such a delight to see photos of your little one learning and growing. Much better than the standard "I dunno" that I get when I ask my son what he did that day. :) I am a huge fan of this place, and I know that it will definitely feel bittersweet when my son is ready to move on to kindergarten.

My daughter has been at this Bright Horizons location since August on 2019, at 3 months old. This was our 2nd choice center for her and were planning on moving her to our first choice 6 weeks later, when they had an opening for her. In that first 6 weeks, we fell in love with everyone there and ultimately turned down our spot at the other center to keep her here. As an educator myself (4th grade), I would stand by recommending Bright Horizons Apex to anyone seeking care for their child. As we get ready to transition out for kindergarten, I can’t help but think the reason my daughter is so ready for school academically and socially is because of the foundation her teachers here have given her. The entire staff, from Chef Raul to the director, Cherron, could not get higher accolades from my family. Thank you so much, BH, we will miss you so♥️

We LOVE Bright Horizons! My child was at this center all the way through KP2 and started kindergarten this year. Bright Horizons thoroughly prepared our child for an extremely seamless transition to kindergarten who was more than ready to start elementary school. We miss Chef Raul and all the teachers and staff! This center had a bit of a slump before the pandemic with some director turnover but that has since been rectified; the current director is fabulous!! And they handled COVID-19 very well. Our child never got COVID while there and never had a classroom closed due to COVID. We will always be grateful to BHA for taking such good care of our child!
