My children have went to the boys and girls club on 43rd for about 2 years. They have helped so much with behavior and keeping them on track with school work. I love the atmosphere of the club and how clean it is. All the children are very happy. Also we love the rec sports , only 25$ for baseball !!
We absolutely love this after-school program! The staff are phenomenal — caring, patient, and truly invested in the kids’ growth and happiness. When my son first started, he was a bit nervous, but the team worked with him so kindly and helped him overcome his fears. Now he looks forward to going! They always make sure the kids are safe, supported, and having great experiences. I am so thankful for everything they do!
My son absolutely loves going to the Boys and Girls Club! Every morning he asks if he can go there instead of daycare, and he gets so disappointed when there aren’t any school-out days because that means he can’t go all day. The staff is amazing—always warm, welcoming, and quick to help resolve any issues that come up. Every time my son walks through the doors, the staff at the front greets him with open arms. I truly appreciate the care and positivity they show every day.
Wonderful Organization. Great Staff. Spot on Mission. Great Volunteering Opportunities. Cooking Club Pics
I went here a fat lil minute ago. The staff were almost like teenagers that had just graduated from high school. They didn’t know what they were doing. The man that would cook and prepare food was a creep. Theirs so much hate, bullying, disrespect and favoritism there. The people at the front desk were always nice. Tyrone would go above and beyond for us. I got suspended from here so many times for getting into fights that I didn’t cause. I was simply protecting myself. There was one time when I was walking up the stairs with a staff member and a girl was sitting down she put her foot out and tripped me causing me to get a concussion. She didn’t get suspended or anything. But we all learn from others mistakes just as well as we learn from our own. Overall I think this is a good place for teens not elementary school students.
