Blackhawk Montessori

My family had a great experience at BHM. We had two children enrolled, one in the toddler class and one in Pre-K. The Montessori approach at this school is nicely implemented, with a good balance of structure and play integrated throughout the day. There is a strong academic foundation while still allowing children the freedom to explore their creativity, build independence, and develop a genuine love of learning. The directors, teachers and staff are attentive and highly invested in each child's growth and development. In addition to academics, BHM offers an impressive variety of extracurricular opportunities, including sports, dance, art (and many more), which enrich the overall experience. Their curriculum also does a wonderful job fostering multicultural awareness which we really appreciated. In addition, the facilities and play spaces were consistently clean, well maintained and organized, which gave us great peace of mind every day. We saw tremendous growth in both of our children in the time they spent at BHM. They felt happy, supported and excited to learn every day. We would highly recommend BHM to any family looking for a well-rounded Montessori program.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Blackhawk Montessori. Our daughter started here at just 2 years old in the youngest class, and the growth we’ve seen in her has been truly amazing. She has blossomed socially, emotionally, and intellectually. The teachers are absolutely excellent. They are incredibly attentive, patient, and genuinely loving with the children. My daughter has been in classrooms with Ms. Tanu, Ms. Gayatri, Ms. Raja, and Ms. Nikita and all have been absolutely excellent. She has also had wonderful experiences with teachers during before and after school care (Ms. Shirley and Ms. Perry, Ms. Kishwar, as well as several others). It’s clear how much they care, and it gives us so much peace of mind knowing our daughter is in such capable and nurturing hands each day. The directors Ms. Naveeda and Ms. Naureen lead with kindness and a deep love for education that truly sets this school apart. We feel so grateful to be part of this community and couldn’t recommend this school more highly to any family looking for a warm, enriching Montessori environment.
