What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise Beverly Hills United Methodist Church Preschool (BHCP) as an exceptional, nurturing environment with highly dedicated teachers and a strong educational philosophy. The Reggio Emilia-based, cooperative model fosters community connections, creativity, and social-emotional development. Children reportedly love attending and thrive academically and personally.
My daughter attended BHCP for three years, and I can't say enough positive things about our experience. The teachers, the philosophy, the environment, the community all made for such a great experience for my girl. She loved her time at this school, and I am grateful for such a kind and nurturing environment.
We absolutely love this school. We toured several half-day preschools in the area but after seeing BHCP we were immediately sold. Amazing teachers, great community with other families, and a really strong pedagogical approach. I know several parents who are current or former teachers themselves who know what excellent education looks like, and they all sought BHCP out specifically because the school and the teachers and the approach are so effective.
BHCP has been such a positive, welcoming experience for our son. We’ve moved a handful of times and have 2 older children, but we haven’t experienced anything like BHCP. Our favorite parts are all of the loving teachers, the large natural outdoor playground, the calming/neutral aesthetic in the classrooms and the nurturing curriculum. I was very uncertain about our childcare plans when we moved here, but our BHCP tour made the decision very easy!
My son wakes up every morning asking to go to school at BHCP. The teachers are amazing and the community is welcoming and kind. It is a great way to give your child opportunities to grow in independent skills, artistic leaning and exploration, outdoor play, and social skills. I highly recommend this school and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think “my kid is so lucky to go to BHCP!”
Our daughter loves attending BHCP and we just love being a part of the BHCP community. The cooperative model of care has meant our daughter has created healthy, multi-generational relationships with parents and caregivers of other children and we get to know all of her friends as well! The Reggio Emilia approach to the progam is child-centered, emphasizing hands-on, project-based learning, and sees children as capable and curious learners. Our curious, energetic, and creative four year old is just thriving!
