I love everything about this church. We have a great group of pastors. We have ministries for men, women, and teens. This is a Church that lives the mission of going out and spreading the gospel and telling people about Jesus.
Great pastor. Friendly people. The grounds are well kept, and the facilities are well taken care of. It's an excellent place to plug into and discover your purpose.
I've been attending 1st Assembly for over 42 years and I thank God for the wonderful church leadership. I love the fellowship, the warmness, and I love that we are able to celebrate our Risen Saviour Jesus Christ together as a family. Thank you to Pastor Wes for your dedication in delivering God's word, and to the whole church team for their dedication in serving. I love all of you. God Bless!!
Car overheated and I pulled into the parking lot. They made sure I had plenty of water for my car, and plenty of cold water to drink too! Great people!
It once was a beautiful venue, with tranquil grounds. I used to love seeing this church here. Now, it is dated, archaic, and skeletal. It looks like a shadow of its former self. Yes, the grass is cut, but the flowers and other greenery are sad. Even the roads to park (one in and one out) and the lot itself are dilapidated and in disrepair. I wanted to weep as I circled the grounds. The garden table outside the administrative office shows considerable rust, and the exterior steps are seeping mildew down the building. It does not do justice for the history and presence of the structure. I used to love to see its presence nestled in the community. Now I want to hide it under a tarp or avoid the sight entirely. It looks as though the diversity and community connection it once boasted under past leadership is now tragically lost, taking with it the soul and heartbeat of the edifice.
