Best Friend Park

Haven’t set foot in Best Friend Park since I was nine years old. Mainly came here to check out the swimming pool. I was around Downtown Historic Norcross coming from Dollar Tree on foot. Best Friend Park was on the way so I decided to check it out. Aside from the outdoor swimming pool. There’s also a gymnasium, basketball court, & playground. There’s summer programs available for children. Very lively area with plenty of youth running around enjoying the amenities city of Norcross has to offer.

The park itself is a cool place to go! Many summer camps and families visit. There's individual baseball, soccer field, tennis court, several swings throughout and a play ground grills and a recreation center. The cons are that a lot of guys sit and lay under the pavilion and if you're walking/ jogging alone the trail that's heavily wooded with no cameras or call box along the trail it could be or feel unsafe as it did for me. Other than that it's okay

This park has potential but will only return if it's a must. The water park is closed and the playground is filthy. There was also a few wanderers hanging there. There is graffiti everywhere on the play equipment and trash on the ground. We did play and went to wash up immediately.

This is a Great Park, It has Everything in one place, But it definitely needs some Maintenance, specially the playground, maybe a little Paint Job and some TLC. My Daughter enjoyed it a lot Thou!! I wasn’t able to go and check out the whole park, but it looks Good to Me! 😁

Great park. It's in sections. Love the pool. There are tennis courts in the back. The park is similar to many of the Gwinnett County Parks but offers a little bit more.
