Best Beginnings

We are so happy with BBMA's Early Education Center in Hixson! Both of my children have attended their program. It is definitely set apart from your average daycare. My daughter comes home everyday, so proud to tell me what she learned and show me her work. She tells me "tomorrow will be a special day because we are going to learn....". The teachers are amazing, the entire staff is so dedicated and truly care about each child as an individual. This location is on point with all safety procedures, very clean and organized, top quality equipment, wonderful meals provided, and endless supplies for their little ones to be creative. This place is more than a childcare center to us. I am forever grateful for the opportunities it has provided my family. Thank you BBMA 💙💚

I am so grateful to have teachers and staff at BBMA Hixson that truly care a out the kids! The Assistant Director, Courtney, was one my my son's absolute favorite teachers (to the point that I cannot wear certain shoes because "those are Coco's shoes") and he is still so excited to see her at the front desk. Teachers in each of his classrooms have been great about giving us updates on how he is doing and giving him some special attention when he is having a rough day, which means the world to me.

I was genuinely so disappointed with big blue marble in Hixson. I could write a small novel about specific situations that raised red flags, but I’ll summarize it by saying security is majorly lacking & there is little to no communication with the parents. Every time I dropped my child off & picked her up there was never anyone at the front desk, any person could enter the building and walk into any room without questions asked. They have FOB keys and a crumpling piece of paper that says not to hold the door open for anyone, but no one followed that rule ever. That was the extent of the security for the children in their care. The biggest issue was the complete lack of communication. When I dropped my infant child off, I would have no visibility of her or what she was doing the entire day. No pictures, no response from the classrooms when I would ask if she’s okay, nothing. The most I would get is a log of when her diaper was changed, when she ate, & when she napped. I took my 6 month old child to BBM and withdrew her after a month. I can’t say I could recommend this daycare to anyone.

We had to have DCS involved with one of their staff for slamming our child down on video and requiring a hospital visit (torn ligaments). (They fought us tooth and nail to cover the hospital visit, all from their Atlanta office). One of the worse facilities I’ve ever had the displeasure of bringing my children to once they sold to the PE backed Atlanta based company. All of this transpired within months of them acquiring the location. (Big blue marble bought the private location, they leased the property at the time from the original owner). That staff member was let go, however the new manager at the time was chaotic and very rude to my ex wife and myself during the entire ordeal. We immediately pulled our children and I took time off from work to watch them while we found a new provider in the area. Because of this I’ve pushed this review across my entire organization and have strongly discouraged many to avoid any BBM location due to lack of accountability. I’d recommend you review their records and make sure their cameras are working. DCS agents and supervisor told us of my renthen our story from the BBM locations in the state of TN. Do not take my word for it, the local Chattanooga DCS office has all local facilities records and it’s very hard to find quality child care in the area.

We feel welcomed and cared for as soon as we walk through the door. The teachers and staff genuinely care for you and your family. Shout out to the infant I room teachers for being the best!
